Here's the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Next time the fundies start quoting Bible verses to you, hit them with something unexpected. This book is also extremely verbose, so they probably won't understand it anyway....

You know that Jack Chick page saying "would you recommend abortion in these four cases? Well, this one gives an alternative for when faced with it.

Final Answers seems to be a fairly useful mathematics page, for those not so mathematically inclined but might need to know such things for whatever reason.

The Index to Creationist claims has been moved to the talkorigins archives!

:D

http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/index.html

This is a simply awe-inspiring, fabulous collection of Creationist whoppers, handily refuted. It's updated regularly, so the more crap Creationists spew, the more it will be updated. Anyone who has debates with Creationists would be well-served bookmarking this page.

Talk reason
A site i really should get round to reading.

Another talkorigins one
This time with common ancestry clearly mapped out. Excellent link to give to the creationists, and useful as a citing source.

Mahikari Exposed

Exposing the truth of the cult Mahikari. A secretly anti-Semtic Neo-Nazi cult which disguises itself as a New Age group. I originally thought it was just another Japanese right-wing wank group but it seems they have branches over the world and are connected with the Aum Shinrikyo (which gassed the Tokyo subway with sarin.)

The Yale Avalon Project, contains oodles of important documents and resources for any law, history, political work/paper/argument you might be doing/writing/forming.

My history teacher uses it a lot, so I impart it to you that you may use it and be happy.

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Molbase an internet moderated database of molecules run by the same guy as webelements. You can contribute (I think, at first it was only first year chem students that could, i think i have a couple of Rubidium complexes in there somewhere).

http://scholar.google.com/

google scholar lets you use the google engine to find scientific texts. google scholar doesn´t give the sites which are linked to most the highest priority like the normal google but scans the reference list a page has.

try entering the word penis. instead of a bunch of swedish penis pump and porn sites you get physiology pages.

Taken from this thread.

This came out back when I was in the desert. I assumed someone here would have gotten a hold of it and showed it to the board but I guess it fell through the cracks.
Journal of Religion and Society wrote: Cross-National Correlations of Quantifiable Societal Health with Popular Religiosity and Secularism in the Prosperous Democracies

In general, higher rates of belief in and worship of a creator correlate with higher rates of homicide, juvenile and early adult mortality, STD infection rates, teen pregnancy, and abortion in the prosperous democracies
Thanks to Sans Deity as it was his TV show that brought it my way. Actually it could have been the Non Prophets but either way the same way. You guys enjoy.

Kudos to Wicked Pilot for the above post. I didn't quote it because the quote background is the same color as hyperlinked words, effectively making links invisible. What a bother.
