And Karmic, if the Zor's carriers bother ya that much you can always start breeding some vicious giant aquatic beasties that eat carriers.

Not if we make deals and tell them tales of riches in the West....

What riches of the west? as i remember it was the east who were burying eachother up to the armpits in excessive gifted extravagance not so long ago.

Also, in light of The lord of Shadows spontaneously doubling his power for reasons unknown... Plans will be accelerated.

What extravagance? Given the Mongol's track record, if we gave them enough tribute, they'd leave us alone. In any case, we are using our resources to both build our economy up and to build up our armies.

Are we starting turn 2 yet?

How is Steampunk Japan going to project enough power to Europe to actually be a threat?

You want action? Have the Fallen return from the far east :D

Who were the Fallen again? I remember Gurren Brittannia's OOB mentions them but has it been defined who they were in the backstory?

They did it. Basically, insane, blind and very powerful Chaos spellcasters bringing insanity and horrible mutation to anywhere they go.

I already have.

Actually its a little more than just doubling.

I'll write up a story post, about how it happened, tomorrow.

So...It's already time for the second round of purchases of new stuff? That was fast.
Conversion Table:

2000 Mockingbirds = 2 Kilomockingbirds
Basic Unit of Laryngitis = 1 Hoarsepower
453.6 Graham Crackers = 1 Pound Cake
1 Kilogram of Falling Figs - 1 Fig Newton
Time Between Slipping on a Banana Peel and Smacking the Pavement = 1 Bananosecond
Half of a Large Intestine = 1 Semicolon

In the last year, Egypt has probably absorbed roughly two layers of of western provinces. So that's roughly 20+ provinces added.

PS: That map Karmic posted still doesn't incorporate Cyprus and Crete as Egyptian territories...

I am confused. The first turn, if I understand correctly, was the, well, first one, in which everyone subdued barbarians and stuff. The second turn, in which we received income for the first time, already started, so I thought perhaps "first turn" referred to the first time we received income and "second turn" referred to what I would have considered the third.

The plot thickens. :D

P.S. This is the second turn, you could only buy things at the end of the first turn. Now you have to wait for the end of the second turn to buy stuff again. Now go slaughter some barbarians in the meantime.

Oh, I see. I though that happened at the beginning of the turn, not the end. Thanks.

Why wouldn't we be able to spend points in-between turns? After all, it's not like armies can't be raised in the summer...

You can spend points in between turns in theory but you only get them at years end with the harvest. So if you have anything left from the end of turn 1 you can spend it in turn 2.

The Pogorian conquests are all wrong ; We did not, in fact, have a war with Pomerania. We expanded towards the Tsardom, to build a buffer zone.

Or The Dark Lord might pop in through a warp portal and drag the Pogorian King to the conference.

Hmm, I might have to push General de Paris to launch attacks closer to Pogorian territory, if the East continues to try and cloud our Switzerland's judgment.

I'm operating on the assumption that Oseng's rep made it to the conference, but otherwise correct.
