"Make my day"

As it stands, all the specializations are fairly useful. The most useless one, in my opinion, is H, followed closely by O.

As of this moment my detachment in Makay, small as it is, is leaping into hyperspace en-route to Nephs forces.

This should be fun.

Until you post in the main thread, Crossroads, it hasn't happened- and you should have just tracked an unsuccessful nuclear attack over the busiest spaceport on the planet.

I'm not sure whether the Kushwani delegation is over Godwin's hope, mainly cause they're apparently hyperspacing to get to the BETAC crew and the BETAC crew is all but at Godwin's hope. So i think my belligerent uninvited guests just saw a nuclear attack as opposed to my amiable guests.

Duley noted, and thanks for letting me know. I'll make a post tonight when I get home from work updating things.

And too Dark Evilme, I wasn't sure on the planets of Makay, so I put them at "Your Capital" wherever that is, thats whjere my ships will be in orbit.

If they Are in orbit where Nephs forces are coming, then I can modify my post to have them getting ready, and they won't have to go asnywhere/.

Small edits to my OOB: I made my light ships lighter and got more of them.

O becomes a lot more useful if present in sufficient quantity against something like my bastard D swollen force, especially if I'm standing on the defensive.

The banner of free working people everywhere! Smash fascism! Smash patriarchy! Smash capitalism! Free the workers, free the People!

Arise, you prisoners of starvation!
Arise, you wretched of the earth!
For justice thunders condemnation:
A better world's in birth!
No more tradition's chains shall bind us,
Arise you slaves, no more in thrall!
The earth shall rise on new foundations:
We have been nought, we shall be all!
'Tis the final conflict,
Let each stand in his place.
The international syndicate
Shall be the human race
'Tis the final conflict,
Let each stand in his place.
The international working class
Shall be the human race

We want no condescending saviors
To rule us from their judgment hall,
We workers ask not for their favors
Let us consult for all:
To make the thief disgorge his booty
To free the spirit from its cell,
We must ourselves decide our duty,
We must decide, and do it well.
'Tis the final conflict,
Let each stand in his place.
The international syndicate
Shall be the human race
'Tis the final conflict,
Let each stand in his place.
The international working class
Shall be the human race

Cmon, then, Darkevilme. Let's have ourselves a civil war!

Hate to pester, Thirdfain, but do you have any interest in potentially sticking a Syndicalist faction in the Humanist Union?

Oh, defnitely. The Humanists make a LOT of sense as a place with Syndicalism; strict meritocracies require both a flourishing intellectual movement AND a large class of those who just don't quite make it in terms of merit- in other words, the perfect breeding ground for Syndicalism.

To all those engaged in the Makay Dispute, im making a slight tweak to my last Post, please be advised to read it!

And By the by, what is the full list of ships Neph sent after Darkevil? I've looked over the main thread and can't find a list anywhere.

It's my expeditionary unit I tacked at the bottom. 2 Battlecruisers, 3 Heavy Cruisers, and 16 escorts.

Yes he did, and earned many Kudos, it will be a shame if it comes to blows between our factions.

You think if we stuck them in a room together a tea party would spontaneously form?

Quick question, who else in the south-east is still active? Because otherwise I'm debating whether to set sail for the ruins of Earth and see what I can uncover, or if I should just have to stab Thirdfain in the back out of boredom.

And it is a pity I'm so far from the action up in the north-west. By Ruckers would love catgirl pelts.

Question. Did we ever decide for certain:

1) How many squares per day a normal ship can move?

2) The range of sensors?

3) The manner in which +D actually obscures sensors?

Just so that I can do things like move fleets around, try to hide ships, etc. I'm not bothering with hiding them at the moment, but it'd be a strategic value later.

Decided? Technically no. We did discuss rules, but never decided on them. I think these were the ones we seemed to have:

1) 1 hex = 1 day's movement with normal hyperdrives. This is the one I'm most firm on

2) Sensor range = 1 hour's normal FTL travel per point of C3. This seems most fair, although I also proposed that it decay with distance

3) How D fucks with sensors = If the highest D exceeds the highest C3 you can't get readings on the numbers and types of ships in the field without closing to combat range. This one I'm the least sure of, but there was some discontent a few months back with it all stacking together. A reasonable concern considering the godawful racket I can put up and the relative uselessness of C3 in most other situations.

Your telling me!

I added my Bustermachines purely with the hope of some day 'dueling' some of your mroe elite forces, it really would be much fun, we must plan a Concert some time in the future!

If the Haruhiists and Metallkonige are ever to meet, it'll be at Nashtar, and it definitely won't be pretty.

It will either be:

"Hello old friends, I believe there are some scores to settle"

OR

"Loot for everybody! Join in the pillaging!"

....

Actually, on second thought, change that OR to an AND/OR.

No matter what happens though, it will be Awesome.
