I'm thinking of doing something rash by declaring war on Kaeleer, and perhaps the Empire of the Sky if the "true ringleaders" of the war plot aren't brought to justice. (More to the point my revolutionary government has a real deep-seated distaste for the caste based Kaeleer and the aristocratic Sky Empire for ideological reasons.) A big problem with such a war would be the neutral nations that would be in between the warring factions....

Yeah, the Kaeleeri confession kind of threw me for a loop; I don't know how to respond to it. I have other plans, though, which I'll set about putting in motion.

That, of course, was the plan. The Regent hopes to distract everyone, and escape in the confusion.

I for one think it is a sexy move.

I also realized today that if me and Thirdfain form an alliance we might be able to simply outbreed the rest of the galaxy. We would then unfortunately end up in a never ending struggle as I steal his cupcakes and chew holes in his socks while he vainly tries to make my warriors eat delicious arsenic cookies.

See. The Chit are clearly a menace to the galaxy, we should have leave of the council to undertake a grand feeding fren- ahem cull- ah.. crusade yeah that's the word...against this threat.

Okay, I've been dragging my ass about it, but tomorrow I will have the necessary free time (without other distractions) to start my shit in Network space.

The noble representative from the Chamaran Dominion is quite correct. I move that the Chit be placed immediately on the Register of Too-Tasty-to-Live Species.

What? Eyriens like their barbecued rats as much as the next guy. :D

Ah ha ha ha ha, my ridiculously circuitous plan is one quarter complete.

You'll find that the Network doesn't get too ruffled about loss of life (though the Yuli are another story).

Still, a foreign military incursion is not something they'll receive lightly. ;)

Horribly enough, I'd rather been hoping I was right about all that.

Oh look, some real piracy to substantiate the rumors that have been circulating! Thirdfain, I believe it's time for another Ouster party.

Isn't it like real piracy occuring halfway across the map from where it should be occuring to substantiate your rumours though?

My dear sir, it's quite obvious that the Interstellar Brotherhood of Pirates is conspiring to better prey upon the helpless merchant ships of Civilization Proper, just like they did in the last Great Pirate War. If it's true in Network space, it's doubtless true in Hajr territoey as well.

It's all about spin control, see? :D

Just to check. Is thirdfain dropped off the face of the planet or merely still waiting to hear back from Nephtys?

Hear what back?

All I have so far are intel requests, which I'm waiting for some 'IC-esque' time to pass in the main thread before replying.

Well, I'm kinda in need of a Llaelar response to my proposal in the diplomacy thread. Just throwing that out there.

Thirdfain does drop off the face of the planet from time to time. I know I certainly never get an explanation out of him, but he'll be back.

Yeah, sorry, I got a job and started dating someone, so in one fell swoop I've stopped being nearly as productive SDNwise.

I'll move to rectify this problem through the clever method of posting while I'm at work! Muahahaha!

Things are a bit hairy for me lately, too.
