Though I certainly don't see you locking down the Ouster node anywhere in the game thread. If you intend to do something, you need to post it.
That was badly-phrased. Rather, we held everyone in the area until the Hourglass finished it's investigation. Hangrabi Freight Seven was not in the area, and so was not held, and everyone was released when the fleet went back to Arceria for orders.

No problems at all.

And Dahak, I've got about twice as many ships in the system as you do. A shooting incident might nor be the best idea.

You are within someone else's territory, and they have ships very very close as well. You probably do not want to start a war against two nations. He is giving you enough rope to hang yourself. And I guarantee you, if you go to war with Dahak, you will have others up your proverbial ass.

I know that. But the Llaelar forces on station are utterly insignificant - one of my battle fleets outnumbers their entire national navy, and I've no real intention of shooting at Dahak's forces. I merely want them to stay out of the way, so that I can deal with the Llaelar in peace. Heh.

Ohma, I've appended a map to my OOB. System Epsilon is the primary system belonging to the Yuli, the one in the upper-right corner.

So? It's not like the rest of my fleet is far away. Or others.
The question is: do you want to risk a multi-sided war just because your manufactured real estate expansion isn't going to plan? Because if you are, you'll have a real problem :)

Actually, the question is whether or not you are willing to risk a war over a system you care nothing about past getting your share.

Which can certainly be arranged. Diplomacy is a wonderful thing, if it occurs between players, don't you think?

Ah, that's better. Dahak, I hope your fleet and mine don't kill each other before they find out that we're all friends now.

Well it would seem my "strategy" of having revolutionary street fighters as diplomats is already backfiring magnificently. I'm actually quite looking forward to the inteplay between my Republic and the Corporate state......

Because if the Star Kingdom's ambassador didn't answer the way I wanted, I could have talked with you about forming coalition to save the Llaelarese!

Well, if we didn't have the node system, I'd be doing something anyway; wars against trading partners are bad for business. But I can get to neither Llaelar nor Arceria, so I'm sort of stuck.

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that yes I am here and I am doing stuff in the main thread, just all of it is sneaky and ratlike at the moment.

Yes, most of what I said about the Llaelarese was untrue.

It would seem that attempts at blatant landgrabs continue in the Llaelar Republic, with more factions jumping in to boot! What is a young Republic to do?
