I had to present on the history of eugenics two weeks ago for my science and religion class, and I still find the idea amusing. Basically "evolution's not quick enough, so let's force it." Considering the apparent de-evolving of trolls recently, we need to institute a eugenics program on them to prevent the species from dying off entirely by becoming too stupid to breathe.
