Dr Sun the guy who smacked down the Baron when the latter was in a mech and the former was not, no that would not be fair to the poor city at all.

Doctor Sun, obviously. Was that really a question?

Dr. Sun couldn't possibly go with the Baron to Mechanicsburg. He's already there behind the lines.

I hope Zeetha has popcorn at hand... :D :D

Also, it's quite interesting that the castle thinks Higgs can handle that...

Is the castle... deliberately forcing Higgs to out himself? Whether as the sneaky Jaeger general, as an awesome early Heterodyne construct, as - whatever - doesn't matter. The castle clearly knows that Higgs would rather it be kept secret, and has apparently acted in Higgs' interest before - what's the Castle's play here? What is the point of this particular joke, apart from having fun with Higgs?

PLOT TWIST ALERT!

Ok, so Higgs is doing undercover stuff for the Heterodynes in the Wulfenbach army, and somehow, he can hear the Castle without shouting and all the other guys around hearing a booming voice replying to him...

Makes things more interesting anyway. I see Zeetha has also embedded herself in the retreating Wulfenbach army.

The things the Castle is saying aren't obviously aimed at Higgs if you don't know they're aimed at Higgs. For all we know, all those retreating troops are just too busy running for their lives to do anything about it, even if they find it profoundly creepy that the big booming voice is urging... someone to fight a bunch of people.

AWWW!

Admitting your love while fighting off lizard monsters trying to kill you because they want your war-stomper mount, in the middle of the biggest battle the world has seen in years. (Or longer.)

How romantic... *sigh*

*sigh* So romantic......

Of course the Castle will ruin the moment before they can kiss.

Well, Zeeta is infuriatingly dense in that regard, isn't she? I mean, how more obvious than "There are people who need you!" can a guy be?

Who bets the surprise is the Baron, in armor with his classified item?

There was a comment awhile back that the Baron's special gift as a spark seems to be taking other Spark's work and making it bigger and better, or simply finding a use for it. Considering it's an open secret that the Empire uses firefighting clanks as siege engines and barbecues people with signaling mirrors, I'm more than a bit curious to see what's bad enough to classify and lock up.

I'm betting Othar myself, he seems to be more the type to jump in screaming suprise where as the Baron would pobably kill you quietly unless he needs to make a statement and even then shouting 'Suprise' is not his style.

Point.

How about Bang? Shouting surprise seems like just her style.

Nope it is Agatha. A drivel of a pointless filler for today's comic.

I wonder how the clanks do fly, their winds only have spars, and noting but fire between them...
Maybe a fabric that is highly fire resitant and almost invisible, due to permanently being on fire?
