Is the castle... deliberately forcing Higgs to out himself? Whether as the sneaky Jaeger general, as an awesome early Heterodyne construct, as - whatever - doesn't matter. The castle clearly knows that Higgs would rather it be kept secret, and has apparently acted in Higgs' interest before - what's the Castle's play here? What is the point of this particular joke, apart from having fun with Higgs?

The things the Castle is saying aren't obviously aimed at Higgs if you don't know they're aimed at Higgs. For all we know, all those retreating troops are just too busy running for their lives to do anything about it, even if they find it profoundly creepy that the big booming voice is urging... someone to fight a bunch of people.

Considering it's an open secret that the Empire uses firefighting clanks as siege engines and barbecues people with signaling mirrors, I'm more than a bit curious to see what's bad enough to classify and lock up.
