Finally Australia gets some recognition.

Post by weemadando »

Until this article I had not seen a damn thing about Australia's contribution to the war outside of http://www.abc.net.au.

http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/asiapcf/a ... index.html

So, our SAS boys are formally acknowledged as being there, as are our planes. And our ships. About damn time. BBC and CNN and the rest in all of their "force assessments" never mention the Australian forces.

Why, I feel like a Cartman moment: "Screw you guys, we're going home..."

Good, I'm glad they're getting the appropriate recognition.

Go Australia!

Bout time someone noticed us, Rumsfeld mentioned us today, that and the occasional Bush mention.

That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"

I've seen Australia come up a number of times. Desert must be crawling with special ops. There's probably enough of them to seize H2 and some other places without support. Wont happen though.
"This cult of special forces is as sensible as to form a Royal Corps of Tree Climbers and say that no soldier who does not wear its green hat with a bunch of oak leaves stuck in it should be expected to climb a tree"
