I like that one. Sort of hits the extreme comic styles I complain about. In other words, how some comics have flashy tech pen drawn panels throught the book, which detracts from high strung scenes. Where as, if you look at an artist such as John Romita Jr. when he was doing Thor and Spiderman he had it low key and simply drawn, but could bring out all the stops on the splash pages and action scenes were needed giving it much more impact. Seems like your comic strip hits that same mark. So what if they make minor altecations, does it work for the panel and situation? Here it most certainly does. By the way, that's pretty funny!

Yes. From left to right, they are Stephanie Seymour, Britney Spears and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

How long will it take until someone says that they don't get it?

About time, dude! Might I say the style is somewhat reminiscent of Mac Hall?

Yes, and that would be flattery -- I'm a big Mac Hall fan.

I experimented with Ian's tutorial a while back, and that's where I basically started learning how to do comics in Photoshop. I kind of grew into my own quasi-anime style, much further away from anime than Mac Hall, I think. It's too bad I don't have time to do shading; they don't let me color, either. Oh well.

So, this is one of the reasons the site hasn't been updated in a long time. :)

Did I mention that my school paper prints these?

Drew reminds me quite a bit of a nutty CompSci major I knew. Resembles him too. Freaky.

It's still good.

Pretty cool. My school paper used to have comics, but they really, really sucked. The one good one (and I knew the cartoonist) left after TV took up more of his (and my) time.

Yeah, I noticed that my paper's comics weren't exactly good in either the art or writing department. Then again, the other guys do two or three strips a week. My strip is by far the best, I think. :)

I may do one in the future, actually. No inside jokes, just something involving the group.

Do I get to be the Official SD.Net Comic Artist?

Dammit, there's another person who's gonna get a custom title before I do!

Nice comic, by the way.
