VERY early WIP.
I'll start with the inn, then a few buildings, then some tress, then I'll have an old timey village for a fantasy setting. This will work this time.
That is some serious model work VERY impressive!
What program ye using for that matte.
And would ye accept commissions
Praying is another way of doing nothing helpful

Thank you. I'm using Blender, the best open source 3D program out there.

Is this for real time, animaton or still rendering pruposes?
Still image. I intend to use it for the first page of a webcomic. I will add digital paint to it. Now I need trees and something for the background... I've never really tried to make a scene and want something believable and internally consistent. Suggestions are appreciated.
Ah well. Free software or not, I just don't have the talent for it
I do have a very specific shape in mind I've always wanted to seen done properly in A 3D program, but it's hard to find some one to sculpt it however.

Very nice. Two specific point regarding placement of the buildings: one, people going from the small houses would need to move past the wagon somehow, and it and the barrel looks like they're deliberately cutting off access to the inn by the way they're placed. Two, the pier looks like it's sagging down into the water, which is a no-no - you don't want water slapping over the planks in inclement weather.
Otherwise, it's very lovely all around. I particularly like the wood-and-wattle facade (at least I think that's the term).

Put something behind the house that is partially hidden by the house in order to suggest to the viewer that there´s interesting stuff happening behind it.

Ah, it really doesn't require talent...

Sent a PM to you with some pics, not sure if you got them or not.
