Wifi can communicate with moving targets, it just needs to blanket the appropriate area with signal. Reception might be harder tho.

That's what I'm saying tho: I don't remember them mentioning taking hits on their population.

Are there no plausible methods of satellite communication that could be used? Satellite-to-ground wifi or something remotely similar?

A big part of that is Cuba's tight rationing of gasoline ever since Castro came into power. If you rarely drive your car and keep it indoors it will last very well, espically if it's a 50's model that's built of huge masses of steel with an overbuilt engine and no electronics to give you trouble. A...

What are the actual terms of the treaty? I think legal wording would not permit coercive means like that. Besides, Anubis wasn't one to care about the treaty; he violated it numerous times, iirc, and he was who Tanith was working for.

Somehow I doubt that if the Asgard knew the Goauld did it via proxy they would hold back. :)

I think if we're going to have warbots, they're more likely going to be some sort of remote controlled avatar, rather than "termintators". Remove the soldier from the battle field and hook them into an advanced VR unit. I don't think we'll trust primitive AI with fighting our wars for us.

They've had some SERIOUS soccer issues in Africa. I remember a certain game in the Africa Cup a little while back, when a goal was disallowed because a spectator had taken out a gun and shot the ball before it crossed the line. I still have no idea why the match was not abandoned, at that point, bu...

The Terra-Atlantis outpost was, if I'm not mistaken, where the Atlantis city-ship was located before going to the Pegasus Galaxy. That's the impression I got from the S8 premier. Perhaps the Asgard developed longer range transporter technology after the Ancients ascended?

Mike: That's something I've never gotten. Cubans can keep their 50s era cars in working condition for hald a century and we can't keep a car in decent/working condition for half a decade. We're really lazy if we can't take care of our cars that well.
