Re: World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
Cross Realm Zones finally finished my WOW experience. The level of idiocy just got too much to handle. I understand it's not active in Pandaland for now, but it's only a matter of time.

Re: What the fuck, Cisco?
The Cisco Small Business line is just rebranded Linksys equipment and software, I'm afraid. But if it happens again you should still be able to call in a TAC case and see about getting a replacement or seeing if there's a bugfix. Good Luck!

Re: New World of Warcraft expansion: 3.0.2 patch update
My main recently hit 66, and I've been playing it for years (of course, I also have a gazillion alts). I'm in the game for the RP, and for the exploration, and have this obsession with actually seeing all the content, so when TBC hit, I got stuck in BRD since no one would do the instance. In fact, ...

Re: New World of Warcraft expansion: 3.0.2 patch update
Horde-side, Silvermoon city's usually clean of infection. The fact that it's so huge and patrolled by Arcane Guardians immune to infection probably help as well. The funniest part was when a bunch of zombies tried to sneak into Silvermoon through the orb via UC, and wiped on Lor'themar pretty much ...

Unless they do something akin to the old Robin of Sherwood show that was on ITV way back when and replace the main actors.
Desperate production companies will beat a horse to death, departing stars or not.

They really need to syndicate this show in the US. Its exactly the sort of thing for Spike TV. There's a US version in production. Adam Corolla, offhand, and a couple of unknowns replacing the Brits. There's a wiki here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_(U.S._TV_series) Why would you put Adam...

Frankly, I've always felt that this is by far the weakest of the HH series so far. In fact, it reads to me like it was another story completely (Perhaps even one that could of been set in the Warhammer series rather than 40K) that had some changes and additions bolted onto it to port it into the HH ...

I mean, well-done as it is, even this episode is just LoM revisited. Lead tries to stop traumatic event that took away (a) parent(s), discovers that parent was the one responsible for the event thanks to finally understanding (or re-imagining) parts of the memory, fails to stop the event, can't go ...

MMR was created in the '60s and used widespread in the '70s (I'm going by Wikipedia here, I'm too comfy sitting here to check my microbiology texts which likely wouldn't go into NHS dates anyway). I would imagine if you were born in the last three decades, you'd have had it at some point, along wit...

I've been running. Lots and lots of running. This morning I ran through the downtown of sunny Jackson, MS, and completed a 5K road race. The time on my stopwatch was 35:17. (which, as I was considerate and started off at the back of the pack, unlike some of the people in fancy dress who everyone had...

Aren't earthquakes basically earth shifting along fault lines? :P *facepalm* :). Generally, what tremors there are in the UK are caused by the ground falling away into large underground sinkholes and the like, I think they're known as a collapse earthquake. Much shallower and less dramatic than a t...

Hey, 4.7 . Not bad. Those are always a good time. The BGS are reporting it as a 5.1, but I reckon that'll probably get adjusted down to the USGS report soon. Any EBC's had any damage? It was fascinating to see the return of Gene, Chris and and Ray. It was great to see that Gene acknowledged that he himself was an anachronism, but he'd keep trying anyway. They left the door open for a Sam return too, after all, they never found his body. I can see him returning in the final episod...

I have never understood the State of the Union address. The President stands there like the Pope, behind a podium before an audience of rapt worshippers. He pontificates at length, and the audience periodically rises like automatons to offer their praise. He is never made to answer questions or dis...
