Re: BSG questions
I remember reading somewhere that the Zephyr was an older design built before AG or when AG was more expensive to place on ships. When AG became more prevalent, the ship was upgraded, but still kept the rotation. Found this at Battlestar Wiki. It came from Scifi.com before they changed the site Its ...

Re: Just read WWZ
I read the Yonkers battle and had the same response. Mention is made of Generals wanting to fight the Fulda Gap, and this is after mentioning brushfire wars. There should have been another reason for the military failure. Between massed arty fires, and an AC 130 circling over head, zombies are going...

What self respecting Secret Service agent sells out to a two-bit thirdworld African dictator? If your going to sell out, sell out to someone decent like the Russians or Chinese.

Random late night ramble. Anyone else miss the Marine Gunny who was killed in an EVA last season. I'd like to see her kick some mutineer ass.

Zarek once referred to Bill Adama as "Zeus" Ever seen a pissed off King of the Gods? Zeus: Why you keep calling me Jésus? I look Puerto Rican to you? John McClane: Guy back there called you Jésus. Zeus: He didn't say Jésus. He said, "Hey, Zeus!" My name is Zeus. John M...

An episode or two later I noticed the "Executive Producer Brannon Braga" and "Written by Brannon Braga and Manny Coto" and all became clear. I just noticed the writing credit the other night. Does anyone else find their enjoyment of the show diminished knowing Braga is a writer....

Just a pie in the sky thought. Is it possible to deflect Earthfucker into Venus, scouring that planet clean? Or, as I imagine should we just take our deflection and call it even?

Re: United Nazi Europe vs US-USSR (RAR!)
USSR is pretty much done. Hitler's mistakes for not getting Moscow in '41 in the OT are rectified in the AT. Germany doesn't have to waste manpower in the west, with no occupation duty or invasion threat and the added manpower and resources of GB and France, Hitler is walking the halls of the Kremli...

Re: United Nazi Europe vs US-USSR (RAR!)
As Stas mentioned, the USSR is screwed. Germany was a hair from capturing Moscow in '41. With the manpower and resources of France and GB, its a done deal, even with Hitler's meddling. A bigger question is does the Commonwealth nations follow GB lead? If Canada supports GB, then the US needs to be r...

Or her part. Disintegrate and Gust of Wind FTW.Three cheers for Vaarsuvius doing his part to move the plot along WRT Kubota.
OotS is great. The prequel books were great reads and are enjoyable even if you aren't a D&D fan.

IN Gattaca, Ethan Hawkes character was a "free-birth" to steal a phrase, conceived in the back of a car. His brother was planned with a geneticist to be perfect.

Re: Clone Wars series (SPOILERS)
Did anybody else conjure the image of Steve Urkel when ever a B1 droid talked. It took me a moment to place it, then I was just waiting for "Laura, my sweet!" to come from one of them. At least the B2 droids don't have squeaky voices.
