Re: TPM: what if Anakin were in his mid teens?

My proposal was that Anakin was 17/18 and a very promising rookie fighter pilot in the naboo self defense force or something. Probably still in training due to his age. This would eliminate the extremely shitty tatooine sections and make the "and he was a great pilot when I met him" line ...

Re: What was Palpatine's original plan in TPM?

Those must have been pretty bad Jedi to be taken down by one guy with a light saber. Probably had the same quality of training as the 3 Palpatine easily disposed of in his office. He's the freaking Chosen One. He killed Dooku, ie one of the best swordsmen in the Order. And of course using a few mis...

TPM: what if Anakin were in his mid teens?

He c...

Re: another round of TERRIBLE POLITICAL CARTOONS

Aren't most political cartoons caricatures of varying degrees in the first place? I'd have to agree with fgalkin in that this one is pretty tame in that regard. Certainly not worthy of being labled a "terrible cartoon".

Re: Political Cartoons Thread

I dunno, I'd have to say that last one is a pretty terrible political cartoon. Beyond the first two panels, it just seems like the cartoonist strung together a bunch of random headlines that really had no true business being linked. Wikileaks spawned the mideast uprisings? Really?
