How well would Jerec (fully powered up) had he survived the battle with Kyle Katarn compare with the resurrected Palaptine?

Do we know how strong is the power of valley, since this could anything from a clear victory for wanktine to clear victory for Jerec. depending on it.

Even at his full potency, it is not likely that the Galactic Emperor could withstand Jerec's power post-apotheosis. "The Dark Forces Saga, Part 6: Outcasts and Megalomaniacs Welcome" describes Jerec's brush with divinity as follows:
Jerec at last gained access to the valley, and for one lucid moment, absolute omniscience was his. The will of the Force, Chaos, the ancient civilizations of the Rakata and Xim, what lay beyond the galactic barrier, and the origins of the universe - - Jerec understood them all, and endowed with Force powers beyond imagination, he would have ruled accordingly.
Although the Galactic Emperor is the most powerful 'conventional' character (his power exceeds that even of other demigod Force users like Exar Kun, Gethzerion, and Kueller), even his power has never been likened to outright omniscience; though he has been said to be able to devise new 'Force powers' at his leisure, he has never been described as having had 'powers beyond imagination.' Had Jerec survived, he would have rendered even Darth Sidious obsolescent. Recall that in Kyle Katarn's alternate ending, he became ruler of a new Empire, which (given the timeframe) implicitly requires that he surpass even the reincarnated Galactic Emperor lurking on Byss in the Deep Core.

I guess this gives strength to the theory of Kyle being more dangerous in combat than Luke skywalker in the EU as well as in game.

Or what the game say - Kyle had to defeat Jerec because it was his destiny. Only Kyle could do it.

Y'know, I'd actually pay good money to see that battle. Even if it does resemble a Death Star vs Imperator faceoff.

“The Force of thousands of Jedi is trapped here. If Jerec captures this power, he will be a creature such as the universe has never seen. The supernova of stars in a fleeting thought - the eradication of life from a star system in a whisper - will be within his power.”-Rahn on the Valley of the Jedi (from in game cut-scene)

not very clear, though it gives some picture just how powerfull Jerec would become.

I have always thought that Jerec had not yet truly immersed himself into the Valley's power when he fought Kyle. He was enhanced version of his former self, but not yet powerful enough to utterly and easily kill Kyle (and Palpatine, for that matter). Kyle interrupted his little ascension and had Mr. Giant Pockets failed, Jerec WOULD have become something like a god - but he didn't have time to do so.

Besides, the prophecy states that "a Knight shall come, a battle will be fought, and the prisoners will go free", according to the New Essential Guide to Characters. It didn't state that only Kyle could beat Jerec, it just said that a Jedi Knight would free the spirits trapped within (although the Valley's ability to enhance Desann's Reborn would point that at least some Force power was left in it). I always thought that it was a same kind of a prophecy as the one concerning the Witch-king in LotR: it's not that he can NOT be killed by mortal men, but that the one who WILL kill him happens to be a woman.
