Well I just downloaded ROTS and after watching it a dozen times and then the yoda vs sidious fight there is no doubt in my mind that he was not trying vs mace but just toying several factors.

he didn't fight with anger, he was just boping around and attacking with his sabre, no yells no anger, when he landed on his back and crawled to the corner, there was no sign of fear, he looked concerned but he wasn't scared. After mace's arm gets cut off palpatine yells "power, unlimited power" and this time the lighting engolfed mace and sidious was yelling in anger like he did when he fought yoda.

Just before he fought yoda he said "now you will experience the true power of the darkside" the entire fight between them was full of anger and there is a clear distinctive difference between the two fights.

Yoda was taking the lighting right in the face (it even knocked the lightsabre out of his hand) and his face didn't deform, and he was clenching his teeth the entire time,

yoda was having a hell of a time vs sidious with the sabre, he was giving it his all, not calm like vs dooku, but straining. I'm not sure where i'm really going with this but after seeing it many many times it was clear that dooku was well below sidious's ability, sidiuos stood toe to toe with yoda on the floating platform, while dooku did nothing but back peddle

new perspective, no question in my mind now mace was toyed with and sidious is more powerful than yoda.

i find that when threads become longer and longer less people are willing to read them, and this is some new info, some important info

Fine, he's a pirate. He didn't post information on how to pirate the movie and he is trying to discuss a topic. You can choose to follow the topic or derail it and and I HOS the whole thing.

No. There is no point to this thread. He's said nothing that hasn't been said and resaid in the other threads on this topic.
