That green, in the middle of nowhere? I'm probebly wrong but shouldn't their shape be squarish and not circles?

No. They're watered by a single rotating sprinkler that, since it moves around a single central point, waters a circle.

Its because of the type of automated irrigation system. Dig a trench and place the center of the irrigation system you want. Then you have a circular moving base system that just keeps rotating around the center point automaticaly. Unlike other systems of irrigation, this is completely labor free and very easy to use. You see it all over the country.

I've got a bunch of photos of the base that I picked up when I was out in Rachel. They were taken at Freedom Ridge before the government added it to the restricted area in 1995. Good conversation pieces.

Some may not even be satellite pics but just high flying aircraft. It can cost a lot to have a satellite take images for civil use, hence, the Multimap.com images are mostly by an aerial force of recon planes.

What's with the low max zoom levels on Montreal? It is one of the major Canadian cities. You can zoom in to the max level on Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary afterall.
Or did the Frenchie whiners pass a law saying that if it zooms in on Quebec too much that the site has to change to French or something?
