RIP Sha-ron Moens 1981-2010

Post by ArmorPierce »

One of my girls sister was stabbed to death little less than two weeks ago. Wasn't sure if I should post this or not. Pretty horrible way to go. Second person I was close to that died in less than a year way before her time. The story leaves out some details so it's actually worse than the story makes it out to be.

NEWARK -- A woman has been arrested in Saturday's fatal stabbing of a Newark mother of three, after reporting to police that her SUV had been stolen, officials said.

The father of two of the victim's three children said the accused killer is his ex-girlfriend, whom he left in recent weeks to return to the victim and their children.

Nadiyah Venable was arrested at East Orange Police headquarters, where she had gone to report the theft of her green Ford Explorer, said Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor's office. Investigators had been looking for the vehicle in connection with the stabbbing, Carter said. Venable, whose age and address were not immediately available, would be transported to Newark Police headquarters for processing.

Venable was charged in the death of Sha-Ron Moens, who was found with multiple stab wounds inside her apartment building Saturday, on Mount Prospect Avenue in Newark, at 12:30 p.m.

Kenny Jones, 39, said he and Moens had two sons together, after she had a daughter by another man. Jones said that he had broken off his relationship with Venable in recent weeks. He said Moens answered the door to her home Saturday, and Venable threw bleach in her face, then began stabbing her.
RIP, sorry that you didn't get the life you deserved.

That is horrible, my condolences. I'm glad I left N.J., that place just seems to get worse everyday. I don't mean any disrespect, but it doesn't surprise me that this would happen in Newark. Hell, places like Newark, Irvington, and much else of Essex county have real problems in terms of crime and urban decay. A few years ago traveled through my old block in Bloomfield and most of the houses had barred windows and were run down.

Mr. Harley: Your impatience is quite understandable.
Klaatu: I'm impatient with stupidity. My people have learned to live without it.
Mr. Harley: I'm afraid my people haven't. I'm very sorry... I wish it were otherwise.
