Heston was a much better Nick Fury than either of the men who have actually played Nick Fury.

Not yet. Wilbur is a surprisingly bland protagonist for a pig. Charlotte was far more interesting, particularly given the amount of work she put into helping him.

"IN" stands for "Infantry." Commissioned officers in the Army place the names of their combat arm or branch after their name, such as infantry (IN), special forces (SF), military intelligence (MI), Adjutant General's Corps (AG), or Medical Corps (MC). It is not customary for line officers to do so in the Navy or Marine Corps.

Cool, HIM Emperor Xandel Carvius (sp) I, and a bunch of people in funny hats and hair. :D

Great work, as always.

Is that Disra on the far left? (And I presume Kaine is the fellow next to Tarkin).
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

Correct on both. Moff Vilim Disra is in the upper left corner, standing behind the future members of the Central Committee of Grand Moffs and next to Argor, Lesser Prophet of the Dark Side, while Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin and Grand Moff Ardus Kaine are standing together on the right hand side, near High Inquisitor Jerec and Director of Imperial Intelligence Armand Isard.

I am assuming the one woman above Armand Isard is Ysanne so the question is - why the white uniform?

Imperial Intelligence officers, being commissioned officers of the Armed Forces, wear white tunics with black jodhpurs and black cloth caps. She is depicted thus in Agent of the Empire: Hard Targets #1 (although the artist seems pathologically incapable of drawing the tunics correctly).

The same source reveals that Director of Imperial Intelligence Armand Isard also wore the all-red uniform his daughter made famous in the post-Endor X-Wing novels, before the Battle of Yavin. The temptation, then, is to suspect that all uniformed heads of service -- the professional heads of the army, navy, and marines -- not merely the Director of Imperial Intelligence, might wear red uniforms. This would dovetail nicely with this author's speculative suggestion in The New Order in Power that the professional heads of service bore unique ranks equivalent to the grand admirals and grand generals; their all-white uniforms would visually invite comparison to the all-red uniforms of the heads of service.

Or perhaps more likely Armand Isard simply wanted to do his own thing, and nobody had the nads to tell him to conform to uniform regulations? It's not like that never happened in an oliogarchy before, after all...

This is a reproduction of a drawing done in color pencil in 2004, when there had been no indication at all what would happen to Amedda under the Empire. Even now, there is no specific knowledge of his standing by the time of A New Hope (the drawing itself is set approximately two years before, after the creation of the grand admirals but before the death of Grand Moff Tarkin).

It is Spearmaster Ch'unkk's 3PO, seen in Crimson Empire II. 0-0-0 is an interesting character, though.

Fair Enough. Though he was listed as being an Imperial Big Wig in Tarkin.

He also puts in an appearance in the currently running 'Lando' comic-book series, illustrating the adventures of Lando Calrissian and Lobot before Lando becomes Baron-Administrator of Cloud City. It appears that he may be retconned as Sate Pestage's predecessor.

No, that is a transcription error. The names should read Wilhuff Grand Moff Tarkin and Ardus Moff Kaine.
