I've been taking a break due to uni. I'm actually looking forward to it. I'll show you what a light biped can do!

Did I get stuck in the ground during that snowy alpine base mission?

Goddamnit Nineball! Stop using ultimate weapons or dual moonlights! You keep killing your team as you kill the transport choppers :<

I just want folks to not get in obvious line of fire when i'm shooting at the choppas.

To be fair that's easier said than done with pulse guns. :V

Yeah, too bad we just absolutely scrapped during that encounter with enemy player ACs.

BTW if you noticed I was changing robits like every mission. I already have like 10 different designs.

Oh were those other player ACs? I thought it was neat how the base scrambled them out on trucks like in Dougram.

Actually the helicopter thing is so Dougram and Votoms. Pretty tight.

Do all your robits have that green chest? I kept following people so I wouldn't get left behind.

Also what the fuck does the operator do? I got thrown into it and walked away while you guys played because I had no idea what to do.

Yeah I need to get into mixing things up other than weapons. Even in AC Silent Line I was stuck on messing with just one robot without really taking advantage of the ability to save multiple different setups.

Still gotta use my auto-shank on choppahs cuz I totally finished one off that way lol

I found out you can cancel half the reset animation for the physical blade by quick boosting. It's like Virtual On :3

The green chest was just my Unit 01 look alike. :V I have tons of other designs but I always keep around my emblem.

Ps the cool lineup is totally obscured by my huge tank legs.

If only you guys could just talk to your teammates lol.

So mission 4 was actually pretty chill. Crazy elevated roadways above water, dilapidated buildings to jump between, and random boats in the water. It's like every awesome robot anime ever!

Also those totally not Metal Gear Ray things were cool. Pretty neat flow as you trade shots and they fly above and underneath the roadways.

But those choppahs are kind of a drag to kill. Is there anything better than laser rifles for that?

Nah they're hardcore resistant to everything other than ray guns. Pulse guns kill em real fast but that's energy intensive. I've found mobile ACs that can just scurry around outlasting them tend to be well off.

Yeah I had my reverse joint setup with good boosters and a high capacity generator plus missile ruining CIWS.

I almost managed to Char kick a choppah a few times :3

oh hey is our territory under siege? I saw flame gifs inside it.

I gotta say I favor CE weapons. I like that zero damage dropoff.

I should probably add more CE weapons. Most of the stuff I use is pure KE or TE.

Also Strak, not all of us just want to slowly hover around without the ability to wall kick like a Mega Man X :3

Market research indicated nobody wanted hover legs, so they made legs that look like tracks but hover. Brilliant,

And there's basically nothing that beats auto cannon + heat cannon.

I mean....

Aside from guys that can move. :v

Well you know how it is with that blasphemous agility based combat :v

I see the whole toggle booster thing they adapted from the ACE series to be kinda like the distinction between walk and run in FPS and 3PS games.

It would actually be sort of cool if boosting in tight areas like city streets meant that you could run into walls or obstacles and fall over or crash. Boosting being more reserved for places like roads, fields, and open areas. The map sizes in the game are honestly pretty small and their aren't many of them. I dislike the constant recycling of the same maps for everything really.

Clearly we need a giant table of outcomes for skidding like in Btech XD

But yeah that is a neat idea since they sorta something along those lines when random overhangs and other destructible objects stop your glide boost on impact. I dunno if it taxes From's ability to animate different parts combinations or if having more debris flying around from breakable buildings would cause even more slowdown :v

Not that it matters at all, but this game has rekindled my appreciation for the art of opening cinematics.
