Been saving this one for a while...

MADNESS Labs, Northern Annex, Miratia

"Hey, this... stuff here," the official gestured at the nightmarish assortment of pipes and wiring to his left, "This is all uh, safe, right?"

"Safe?" the Miratian scientist cackled gleefully, "What's safe? Why, it's already active. We have, oh... five seconds."

"Wait--what? Why you spectacled little fucker..."

"Oh, relax. The test site is more than a hundred kilometres awa--"

So...this is it. The reason why I decided to finish Prime Noir.

Now we can lay the STGOD to rest with the knowledge that it's well and truly DONE.

Unless Q comes back from his newest project and waggles his finger, that is :P

Maybe I should do a story post with a Warhammer 40K ship, gloriously looking all Gothic, and some kind of Grimdark future.

I object! Tian Xia wouldn't have used a nuke on Hank's private island. We'd have KKWs in orbit by then.

I was sorely tempted to add to PeZook's epilogue by saying the chief engineer on the ship was my avatar's youngest kid (the one born during the STGOD). But, alas, I am exhausted from moving and too tired to properly write anything ATM.

Oh, go ahead. It's time for sombre eulogies from everyone who wants to bother, after all :D

BTW, I really liked how Siege went all Cyberpunk. Kudos! :)

And the "We are leaving" line works great for me for some reason.

Story thread #4, page 37, about two-thirds down. Fairfax gets a terrible headache, falls over, and wakes up seeing Q.

Of course, it could be he just had a little too much to drink :D.

Yeah. I think it was done before we nixed the idea of SDNW3 being a "continuation" of SDNW Redux, at least so far as our avatars are concerned.

So it could well be him having too much to drink that day. :D
