Nike Makes Marty McFly's Automatic Lacing Sneakers From Back to the Future 2!
If you watched Back to the Future 2, then you most certainly were envious of Marty's futuristic shoes that auto-laced. Well my friends Nike has finally made the future a reality. Click the jump to watch the video of Nike Air Mags.


Nike filed a patent for this invention in 2009, but this is the first sign that Marty's shoes from 2015 will be making their debut very soon. The shoes will carry the same name as the did in the film, Nike Air Mags. The news is still just breaking, Nike must of let some information slip though. Kevin Durant recently tweeted that he needed new shoes and finished the tweet with, "Think McFly Think." While today, one of the producers of the trilogy eluded to big news coming on the Back to the Future front, and then just tweeted the video below.

Frankly, if this is real, I'm buying a pair.

Everyone has problems with it because Youtube always adds bullshit after the video ID like &feature=related. Honestly, the mouseover text for the youtube button needs to be amended to include a brief instruction to remove everything after the video ID.

You guys do realize that there isn't a power laces version of these shoes coming out, right? The 2015 date is an obvious reference to the second movie. I doubt that anyone's come up with a way to make power laces work, although I suppose it's more likely than them releasing the hoverboard then.
