just how deadly is Aus. wildlife in Fallout?

Post by The Yosemite Bear »

just a thought, since we've only seen Virginia, California, Utah, Detroit down to Colorado, Nevada, and not much else in the fallout verse, just how deadly is the notorious Aussie wildlife, in the universe where bears maul heavily armed people in power armour?

Everything gets mutated anyway. Like the Deathclaw.

So the same just with venom.

Isn't the only venomous animal mutated in the entire United States a scorpion? What about all the snakes? Hell, what about actual threats like the great birds?

Oh right, shitty engine. God can you imagine a vulture in Fallout 3? :V

A two headed emu would be pretty funny, though. Especially since it'd just cycle the same attack animations like everything else.

Man what about a flying fox that is like a gliding facehugger? That'd be pretty funny.

Platupy...
It has become clear to me in the previous days that any attempts at reconciliation and explanation with the community here has failed. I have tried my best. I really have. I pored my heart out trying. But it was all for nothing.

You win. There, I have said it.

Now there is only one thing left to do. Let us see if I can sum up the strength needed to end things once and for all.

There'd have to be mutated Tasmanian Devils that spin in a whirlwind Looney Tunes style. OK, yes, technically Tasmania is an island off the coast, but that's close enough and there used to Tasmanian Devils on the mainland anyway.
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." - John Rogers

Clearly, the Tasmanian Devils would just hydroplane across the surface by spinning faster than usual.

They wouldn't enjoy the necessity though.

Maybe it's the opposite.

I don't know but I don't want to go to north Africa and see what the honey badger mutated into. For fuck's sake, deathclaws were chameleons.

You are now imagining feral deathclaws with natural stealth-boy-like abilities similar to the one displayed by some nightstalkers near Jacobstown in Fo:NV.

Fallout Australia would be Middle Earth. Think about it. The Monitor Lizards and Crocs would become Dragons and Fell beasts. The Flying Foxes huge like the Great Eagles of the North. The affected people could become Dwarves, Hobbits and Orcs. New comers would be basically elves in comparison.

And of course the spiders would become Shelob and the Great Spiders of Mirkwood.

Gojira? Maybe that's why it was cut. It went to Japan.

So what the hell would 'Fallout: New Zealand' be like?
