Not very practical, but I like the solar sailors from Phoebus Krumm. Probably carrying the space as ocean thing a bit far, but you can't deny they're pretty to look at.

The bubble is a field that retains atmosphere and retains/radiates heat as needed. Yes, those are solar sails, crew quarters, weapons etc are mostly in the acorn shape.

The Smartship Friday. A ship, that's also a submarine, with a very friendly AI and an artificial soul.
