The year is sometime in the future, say 2070's. Technology has progressed enough for us to launch a ship at another Star System. We are put into Cryo-Stasis, and launched at the nearest point we can most safely believe a planet can support new life. Within this ship are thousands of colonists, all chosen by World Leaders and other important people to make it onboard the ship and lead Humanity to Survival. However, the Ship unknowingly enters through a Space anomaly and Crashlands on a strange, alien world. Each player will play the part of some sort of leader of hundreds of Colonists, (Up to 2,000.)
The gist of the RP is that each player's ideaology and goals for Humanity are different from the others. For example, one of us might be a very Radical Mercantile Businessman, the other might be an Uber Socialist, still yet might be a Religious Fanatic. One of us might be kind of reasonable and nice in their own way, but we all have very strong conflicting ideologies. Eventually there might be some kind of weird "magic" powers such as those seen in Star Wars, Babylon 5 and Dune, but the game's general gist will be the leaders of Humanity struggling to survive their new environment, internal rebellion and eachother.
Later in the game, Aliens might be involved, but for now all Players must be Humans who arrived on the Colony ship.
