From TrekToday

A fun novelty gift in the same vein as the Klingon Hamlet.

So instead of auctioning properties, you would engage in a bat'leth duel?

Just don't land on Praxis, you saw how that worked out for Gorkon!

Khitomer ain't exactly a tropical retreat for Klingons, either.

So no matter where you land, you lose. :)

Even Qo'noS is pretty dangerous. First City seemed to be under fire in the Klingon Civil War.

"Two hundred darseks rent please."
"Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam!" *Park Lane explodes*

The idea of Klingons engaged in property investment is stupid. Ferengi, maybe, they just aren't as cool.

Funny, wanting to engage in property investment is exactly why the Klingons sabotaged the grain "Trouble with Tribbles". 8)

'The House of Quark' was all about a Klingon ploy to steal land and property.

It seems that Klingons like land.

Yeah, remember the episode where Jake and Nog made several trades and eventually end up with some land. Nog thought it was completely worthless compared to stembolts. So maybe the Ferengi aren't the best example for property investment. Or Nog was being an idiot. Either is possible.

Or maybe land on a backwater quasi-failed state like Bajor was at the time would be a bad investment?

Nog also didn't really have enough money to develop the land at the time, and with him being just a kid and all, I find it hard to believe he'd have an easy time attracting investors to develop the land for him.

I can imagine the community chest cards - "Kill your opponent in glorious combat!"

The Go to Jail would be "you can't kill anyone for one turn" truly a jail sentence for a Klingon
