That looks like a stephan Martiniere painting. This is his home page.

Hile Gunslinger. Thankee for the link. I suspect the artist is a Deviantard who has a similar style. I really need to go back and find out so I can credit him or her  Here is progress

After a quick reverse image search I found the name of the author, and it took me a couple of minutes to find it on deviantart.

You've got the blades on both rotors going the same direction. You need one set going the opposite direction for it to fly correctly. Otherwise it'll have a tendency to just spin in circles. Looks good otherwise, so far.

Very cool kit-bashing. :)
What scale is it?

I think it'll look a lot better when painted. Right now it just looks like two models stuck together.

Ok it...eh..It looks too DARK now... A softer Earth tone I think would have been better... Still, that looks like it can take on some serious shit.

I very much like this. It's very impressive how you joined the two fuselages - I would've thought it would look really discontinuous, but this doesn't really have that problem. Looking forward to the final result.

Black is probably just a basecoat. Impressive-looking work there, I look forward to more.

Thanks all y'all. Black is just primer. Here she is resanded and with floats, forward wings and rotors

Of course it's still just a mockup at this stage. I have a ton of putty to apply and then resand before I can put camo paint on her.

That really does look like something Martiniere would design. Or some dud on Deviant Art, I suppose. Amazingly successful kitbash.

8-bladed props? Gah! Inefficiencies errrggg...

Seriously awesome work there. How long have you been modeling?

Thanks very much my brothers :luv: I have been kitbashing and scratchbuilding since I found out that's how they built the models in Star Wars. I can honestly say that I haven't built a kit OOB for 16 years. Most of what I built before that was modified in some way.
Feel free to go to my Photobucket

Check out all the albums, some are completed ,some are abandoned projects most are step by step build ups. I generally post on other dedicated modeling sites so I need to show progress shots.
Feel free to ask any technical questions. I will be happy to answer them.
Believe it or not I can usually even answer the "Where do you get your ideas?'' question.

Heck that ain't so much skill as practice and some more practice and then some more.
And a hell of a lot of putty and sandpaper.
