It reminds me a bit of the ships of LoGH. In general nice, but it only has turrets on the top of it.

Awesome work as always, very brutal, reminds me of your "Thrall" ships from one of the ealry STGOD games. I am guessing those are all Missile launchers on the top of the ship. And with, what I assume are beam cannons on the fornt, I can get a bit of 'LotGH' form it as well. All together very nice design.

The bow looks very dreadnought-like. I wonder why.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

Are those tubes on the mid hull section some sort of missile launchers? If so, that'd be a hell of a volley.
I like the design, very practical and simple, but not bland, and void of those stupid masses of windows every sci-fi ship seems to have. Interesting engine layout, too, seems good for maneuverability along the primary axis of thrust.

Yes those are missile launchers. The design ethos was saturation+beefy warheads over other considerations. Or put another way "IF we can kill enough of the enemy in one volley we can worry about reloading after the battle is over."
As an aside those numerous round holes in the armour are also attitude jets.
The rugged texturing is a great touch. I'm not at all familiar with ship design, but I wonder if it'd look any nicer than it already does if the smaller turrets were more retracted into the ship. That, or maybe what if they were designed to be retracted completely into the ship when they aren't primed to fire, leaving more of a flat, horizontal saucer or cheesewheel shape for an armor plating to go over top of them. The frontmost large turret looks nicest in my opinion because it's slightly retracted inward, leaving less of a profile when seen from the side.
It is very nice. The brutal look of it works, and I am digging the golden thrust thing. Those are a lot of missiles.

Went, worked on it some more. Added some spinny dishes and some point defence guns to supplement the lighter missile launchers.
Behold.
Although admittedly the point defence guns are hard to spot in some places, on account of being tiny as opposed to insanely enormous.
