The FUN, I think is best protected by the ISCA. Only myself and Canissia are the only non-FUN members of the Agency, and it serves a considerable purpose, and has been used extensively by both the MESS and OMSK. Granted we do have alternatives, but ISCA shipping provides a commonality that is extremely useful, since anyone who makes use of ISCA ships would be able to provide the best in port services for any other person using the same; after all, their maintanence people are experts at working on the FCS, ACV, etc (depending on what each country deploys).
That's a considerable incentive to not attack FUN members right there, I'd think. Much more so than nukes would be, which as pointed out would be a rather spectacular way to commit suicide.

And so no one will wonder why exactly Neverhood nationals are GTFO of their nuclear test ground country and heading for the nearest sane place

Why are there boat people shroom?
You do know that OMSK has free travel right? If they can even afford one plane ticket they could simple travel to any other OMSK nation and if they wanted to fleet why in fuck sake would they do it in boats? A 500 mile journey no less
For criss-sake there are things in the ocean that make Great Whites look like wittle kitty cats.
Nevermind most OMSK nations maintain airliners between our various countries, the reason you see Boat people Shroom is if you can't leave by any other way, you might as well tell me there are boat people between France and the United Kingdom... why? When both countries have first world citizens and they can take a plane with ease?
In short what I'm saying is, Boat people
make no fucking sense

That boat people thing was just a picture of previous refugee crises, like Syndromia or Libertia, before the Megafauna thing.
The Neverhood dudes are, as the first picture shows, going via air.
[I'll edit the post to clarify]
And I don't think they'd want to go to another OMSK nation seeing as how their state got entrusted to the OMSK and ended up being Shep's private nuke playground

That is a rather troubling development, really. Although he was going to blast out a canal via nukes on his own territory, too.
I think it's becoming clear to the international community how little regard Shep has for the welfare of the environment or people, and is simply out to make things go boom in ever larger (radioactive) explosions.
Or so the various editorial columnists are saying.

Yup, and Gasbuggy worked so well. It, and the other 2 tests(Rulison and Rio Blanco) resulted in the conclusion that there was an unacceptable level of radionuclides in the gas production, requiring far too expensive of equipment to clean it. In short, the using nuclear devices for peaceful purposes is generally a failure.

PAEs were not really researched much, but certainly not because of unacceptable contamination levels.
I hope you guys understand that Chernobly was
many times less than Hiroshima blast, but contaminated many times more.
A nuclear blast isn't even 1/10th as contaminative as a nuclear
leak

Well, yeah - comparing Chernobyl to a nuclear detonation is apples and oranges. Chernobyl was more like a dirty bomb, packed chock full of nasty isotopes.
Nevertheless, the less fallout the better. It's good that things aren't as bad aswe feared with those nuclear rockets of Shep - but PeZookia would be a lot more relieved if we actually get to see results of radiation measurements.
EDIT: Quick, everybody! Let's do a baby shower for Coyote and make the poor guy wonder what to do with all the gifts!

CLIT is rising. Also, the CLIT spokesman may be lying about the CLIT's armed wing.

Another creation of me and Anya. Personally I can't even fathom what it can do. Possibilities are so broad!!

Bell-Sikorsky offers the MH-6M.
New Patria would like to know the Prices on the MH-6M, S-70 varients, and S-92 varients.

That reminds me of this:

Uh... New Patria, competing bid from
YKM Vertol?

I was too entangled in the Libertopian affairs and it seems my ministers missed a possible arms deal.
Ministry of Proliferation wants to inquire what you need. A Mil Mi-34 is possible for smaller needs.
Mi-26 or
Mi V-12 is possible for large cargo hauls.
A Ka-27 is possible as a naval chopper.
Yak-24 is also available.

MH-6M has a unit cost of approximately $1.5million, in larger quantities (If you only get a couple, they cost more). The S-70 varies depending on configuration. Less than $10 million each, however. The S-92 costs approximately $15 million. The CH-53K will cost about $30 million (It's not what you requested a price on, but might as well give you that as well). All except the MH-6M is navalized.
Stas:
There's a difference between a ground-burst and an air-burst, in terms of fallout levels. Hiroshima was an airburst. Chernobyl also has a significantly different blast pattern than a nuke (naturally enough), so most of the fallout was in a fairly localized area.
It's a misnomer to call Chernobyl merely a leak. A leak is what happened at Three Mile Island. Chernobyl was a catastrophic reactor accident.

Okay, I should've used the word "meltdown" - and in any case, the radiation was IN NO WAY comparable to what was released by PAE projects in both USSR and US - you well know it, and whosoever is claiming otherwise is lying to further anti-nuclear agenda.

In a way, that was my point-- Chernobyl, a mere "powerful release" and not a full detnation, still spread damage in a wide swath of territory. Whereas an actual, full-on blast would spread even more.
Basically, "Look what happened at Chernobyl, and that was like a champagn cork popping --compared to a series of nuclear explosions across hundreds of miles of earth in two hemispheres..."

Whereas an actual, full-on blast would spread even more.
THe point is that a detonation result in less damage. Especially if the detonation is a clean one, i.e. a fusion device. PAEs (PNEs) are full on explosions, and they are less damaging than Chernobyl.
PAEs rarely result in serious contamination, if at all.
If you dont' allow water to be flowing into the explosion, you won't have problems at all (save underground gas vents which may become contamintated).
Of course extensive geological survey is in order to prevent an undergound gas fuckup.

I wonder if they will end up expanding in Byzantium where Parliament just passed a motion allowing same sex marriages.

Heh-- I was, in fact, thinking of using the CLIT from Jay & Silent Bob movie fame-- Coalition for the Liberation of Itinerant Tree-dwellers. I was thinking that we haven't had any animal-rights loonies attack yet...
There is still LABIA: Liberate Apes Before Imprisoning Apes...

We kinda forgot about Libertia, but I hope a summary of things is still being made

I combined the map from earlier posts, including Bean's warlord control zones, and that can be used, both for the report and by anyone exploring Libertia, mapping new cities or even genuinely "venturing" there like, for exploration

Yeah, well, the report will take a bit of time to prepare. In the meantime, doing some positive and even funny things may be appreciated

Well, the CLIT operates, under various guises, in many nations.
They are a union of commie feminists and lesbians (a US conservative's nightmare!

) pushing for lesbian rights, a socialist order and complete gender equality
at the same time, seeing those three goals as common: socialism as economic base for equality and necessary laws, legal rights of lesbians and women as a legal base for equal treatment, and destruction of the gender/sexual orientation discrimination as a real social base for equal treatment. Various opnions on how socialist the new order should be exist in the CLIT, just as in the Red Tech.
They take what they can for any of those goals, though, if they can do anything on the three fronts, they do it.
In Byzantium, their subsidiaries are known as Red Equality Division of Sisters (REDS), and they try to work into both government and Clergy to further acceptance of lesbians and women's equality not just legally, but also in society.

They are "welcome" to create a chapter in Canissia (ie, plothook generation) but while it is true that polygamy was legalized, it shold also be remembered that polygany-- the marriage of one woman to multiple husbands if she so desired-- was also legalized.
