Well, it was already mutually agreed to have an autotopsy after she died.

I can just see the results from that

Well, it wasn't quite the enormous meteorite slamming into Florida, wiping the entire mess from the face of the Earth in a glorious rain of superheated vapor that I was hoping for, but when I heard it on the news, I yelled in my car "At least, she's dead! Maybe now we can cover some real news!"

Seriously, I'm going to absolutely love watching the right-to-lifers try to spin their way out of the autopsy results when the autopsy is over and done with.

I know I should feel maybe a little compassion over the fact that someone's loved one has died, and has done so publically. But, seriously, she was a corpse that didn't know it was dead yet, and now that it's finally accepted that fact, we can finally hope for this sordid mess to go away.

It was on MSNBC. I'll see if I can't find a transcript. But basically, he was talking about Schiavo and her parents and how all Americans must support the "Culture of Life". Then, almost immediatly, he switched to talking about terrorism. I was pretty sure for a while that he was trying to tie the two together.

Hell, check out Jesse Jackson's spiel, he went from Schiavo to world hunger and back again in the course of three sentences, as if the two were inextricable.
