Agreed. That even sounds like Fluttershy's VA doing the singing for the middle parts. I can't even tell if they reused the actual audio for the initial "Hush now, quiet now" and the ending "yay".

I actually wish they could make the lullaby a little longer, it would make a great actual lullaby.

Well, kinda. It's more just that outside of Big Mac, the Prince is the only kinda-sorta-maybe-not-really male authority figure we've really seen (well I guess the Sheriff in Appleoosa would qualify, but I forgot his name). And Big Mac, well... "Princess Celestia...eeyup..." just doesn't have the same ring to it.

(fun fact: in one of the parks in Budapest there is a life-size statue of Ronald Reagan that you can pose with, next to him is an interactive-touchscreen-sign-thing with the headline title Ronald Reagan: The Farm Boy who defeated the Evil Empire)

I just discovered the official French Dub... Well, it could be worse, though I still find that a lot of the voices are annoyingly juvenile, which is a sadly common thing in "saturday-morning cartoons" here.
