I could point out that Reina and Sarisa are both bisexual and that Reina's last lover was a young man, but I doubt I can stop Shroom from affixing labels he likes. :P

The poison gas backup sounds rather... excessive, FL. :P

This is Space North Korea we're talking about here.

Hmm. I wonder how many ships the Centralists lose to suicide device malfunctions. Or disturbed individuals firing them, if one man can do it.

East Gallia could just as easily qualify as Space North Korea, albeit on a much smaller scale than the Centrality. Which reminds me, I still need to write up just how Welkin, Eleanor, and the other Westies manage to defeat the Easties' fake Baneblade...

I'm not sure whether Umeria counts as being part of the Lesbo Zone from your point of view...
It doesn't have to have actual Lesbos! It's already within geographical (okay, astrographical) range of Anglia and the Anglian sphere of influence to count as the Lesbo Zone. The Leso Zone radiates from the core of Anglia, where the Lesbo is very intense, and as it radiates outwards the Lesboness might decrease in intensity, until at the very edge of the Lesbo Zone it's not really so Lesbo anymore. Think of it as one of those Chernobyl rad-zones, or a nuclear bomb's area of effect (within a few kilometers, you die, a few dozen miles away, you just get third degree burns, even further away, you just get your hair singed, and after that, you just see the flash but are otherwise unharmed).

Maybe it can also involve not just sexual preferences. But that's just one criterion for the Lesbo Zone, the other being the fact that the region contains a lot of historically-resurgent powers like Anglia, Space France, Space Prussia and Space Spain? Perhaps some sort of sociocultural whatsits that's common to that area of space, aside from the lesbos.

Hrm... the Lesbo Zone doesn't have to be as big or as well defined as the Koprulu Zone. Hell, the Lesbo Zone could just be the futuristic term for the 'Anglosphere' or the 'Angliasphere'. Maybe when the Anglians call it the 'Angliasphere', other people just cal it the Lesbo Zone! :D

If the MESS had ended up banding together in a lame supercontinent again, we could've called them the Messy Zone (or the Messy Place?) or something.

What other silly names can I make... hrm... MIDGAR SPACE. Yes. City of Midgar, Midgar, Midgar System, Midgar Sector, in MIDGAR SPAAAAAAAACE! *pokes RogueIce* :P

Also, do we have a list of non-human species and non-human nations/PCs?

*fires up Black Hole Generator, targets it on Bragule and the Feelipeens* Just in case you continue this rant. :P

As for a list of non-human species and nations, don't think we have an official one. Could do a Wiki article for it. Off the top of my head, Sorchus' Eoghans and the Pfhor are other alien PCs of some note.

If I knew what utterly incompetent fuckwit was responsible for the programming of the Wiki, chances are I'd strangle them in their sleep. What a fucking unusable, uneditable piece of shit.

So I did actually start on a nice Orcs vs Orks bit but I just managed to fry my motherboard so until I can ship a replacement over and rebuild my system I'm stuck on the wife's Mac. Not that the Servian's have been doing anything but figured a heads up was in order.

LoC9, is the Cabinet in the Prussian Star League appointed by the Reichstag (as in a British-style parliamentary democracy), by the monarch, or by some other unknown process?

If the Cabinet is required to obey the decision of the Reichstag, then unless some other political body (such as the monarch) overrides the Reichstag's decision, the Prussian government will be going back on its solemn word in your previous diplomatic note to me.

From the point of view of the Umerians (who don't have an elected legislature, are used to government policies that stay reasonably stable over time, and are used to getting their diplomatic assurances from ministers who are actually in a position to deliver on their promises), this is a Big Deal. I'm not sure if you fully appreciate that.

Glowworm-class transport Tranquility, Location Unspecified,
UNREAL TIME

Captain Tamrin stirred uncomfortably in his sleep, awashed in the vague awareness that someone, somewhere... was using his lines.
Seriously, though, good stuff.

That was pure poetry!

The cultists thought they had a Jesus on their side. But the Duke was a Jesus. A Jesus with a pistol. Whatever a Jesus was.

God-damn! That was beautifully done! Sublime! You're so at home doing this, Siege. It's truly a sight to behold. Man.

Stuck with Rich Text Editor? I hated it too. I got rid of that, though.

When you're logged on, there should be a button along the top labeled MORE by your name. Click it, then click Preferences. Once there, go to the Editing tab and uncheck the Enable Rich Text Editing box. That'll give you the usual text editor for a wiki, which is much easier to deal with. You'll need to know some HTML and Wikicode of course, but there are plenty of tutorials and help pages out there for both.

Sorry my reply was so long in coming I've been trying to find a place to live and work as well as get into college. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to post much if anything in the near future, moving into the apartment I just got on Monday and then busy with trying to get school straightened out. Hopefully by the end of September I'll have internet and time to start posting again.

Hmm. Thinking through the implications of Kartr's response...

An officer isn't going to reach Pendleton in time to change the current situation, but a hyperwave message might.

Oh, and FL? It came to my attention you had your leader go Vader on a poor schmuck over interstellar distance. That's far overdone for what the limits of ESPer power are meant to be. Consider it retconned to the bastard getting shot by the cronies on the scene.

My vote aint worth much. But i vote they just blew up his head with coded transmissions and explosive implants...cause routinely putting bombs in people's skulls to guarantee their loyalty sounds sorta like something the centrality would do.
