The othe problem with the crazy Marine orbital insertion scheme is: how do you get them back out? The transport can't get back up.

There is also the Mangka Republic. Though a MESS member and we're doing our best to clean it up, the corruption is so entrenched and wide-spread (and distrust of authority, especially foreign assisted officials) that we're pretty much trying to empty the ocean with buckets dealing with this.
If you could get past the officials, the Mangka Amphibious Reconnaissance Battalion and the Military Police could provide counter-terrorism. The ARB is mostly consisted of aborginines which do not abide to gangs (and had at least joined the CROSSHAIRS '08, so you big guns know what they can do). The Military Police I haven't fleshed out though.
Citing MESS treaties/laws would give us international pressure, after all, we're a small nation and the president is willing to give a push

Yeah, we really do
Oh, and hold a vote on Coyote entering the ISCA. I totally forgot about his application!
On another note...New Year's eve, guys! It's time for spectacular and impressive celebration all over SD.net world!

I just hope it won't involve Soviet-patented Nuclear Engineering Explosives

*phew*
fooooh.
that thing required a lot of cooperation and hideous over-spending. because it costed lots in reality.
thanks to:
Bean - launchers and cosmodromes (several!!!), multi-hundred-billion investments
Me and Shep - orbital spaceplane, multibillion investments (and reimbursement of part of my cost overruns/public debts - thanks Shep)
Vulpesia (WesFox13) - dedication of a dozen million to the program which were used to finance the DOG LAUNCH!!!
Byzantium - landing stripes to avoid stupid airspace violations, risks and sea landing - and meeting the DOG COSMONAUTS and HUMAN COSMONAUTS alike with booze, priests and a huge temple!

The SPACE PROJECT PHASE 1 COMPLETE!!!

Woot! WE ARE BACK IN SPACE!!!
Now if only we could get Saddamistan to stop threatening a shootdown every time a satellite is launched
Okay, I think this coupled with the success of a rescue operation calls for a huge party at that neutral island Bean's contributed.
Who's in?

And now you know what the UV-24 program really was. A secret black hole dump for money to funnel it into the space program.

There was never any intention of producing a flyable VTOL cargo assault plane

I'm in. Though I was just boozing at the real Cosmonautics Day (you need to take at least 3 shots of something high-grade, preferrably vodka, absinth or water-softened spiritus - for Korolev, Gagarin and Titov)

but sure

A splendid way to end the year. Now maybe the ICSA can announce the latest FCS launches
First man in space, motherfuckered those goddamn Libertopians, declared war on the sea and killed monsters, Syndromia, Shadow-Mangka, everything... man. Good year, everyone!

About four months from now, shroom. ISCA is just gonna get started in FY2009

2009 is gonna be even better!
The ISCA will launch a prototype testbed for the powerplant of the Nuclear Passenger Ship ; First major FCS order will come online ; The central sea will get spammed by Blackbeards ; We'll establish an international antiterrorism unit ; There's gonna be a lot more manned space launches, and maybe we'll even reach a consensus on space use ; We're gonna start farming the motherfucking Krakens for the biggest calamari rings ever ; Commerce shipping will pick up rapidly ; New industries will crop up.
And, man - WE'RE BACK IN SPACE!!!

Ookay...now we have killer robots?
Right on New Year's Eve...jesus...
EDIT: They're pretty retarded, though. They want to kill everybody, and then they release their specs as a form of
intimidation? What are they going to intimidate us into doing?
Ah, yeah. Making armor-piercing munitions that can penetrate their armor

*sigh*
Where is Shep when we need him. We should nuke Zablania if there's really no one left. Makes short work of the mechanized robots (where'd they come from anyway, Zablorg?)

Well, if you remember, a long time ago I had robots come out of a volcano and head towards the Halls.

yea, but what the hell are they?

We kinda need to get a little info...
else we'll have to just commit a robotocide to protect us (OMSK will have no qualms about extinguishing them once and for all)

Well, they're not immune to logistics. They have to move across the sea if they want to attack anyone, and they'll need factories and machine shops and powerplants to run their warmachine.
Even without nukes, an air campaign should be able to starve them.

no, why. we don't know much about the robots. neither of them pose an immediate threat to OMSK.
If they shall, however, try to attack any nation in vinicity, they will be wiped out.

When you question them all they do is send you a pdf of the
Necron codex and giggle.
They also say that they are not adverse to entering some negotiation with them or something. I'm trying to keep possibilites open, otherwise this would just become "RAR dangerous things attack... again!"

Dude, they
murdered everybody in Zablania and declared war on the world.
If that doesn't make them a threat, I don't know what does.

well so far we don't attack them, so I dn't care really
but someone small (Lincolnians, Pezookia, Vanaheim) could do it since the're close.
I'll leave it to them to kill/war with them.
Actually, I'd say for all taht we let them dwell so far, and then put either Vanas or Civil War Man to deal with them if they want an active play post
P.S. oh yeah, I forgot about the whole "war" thing. Zablania has only Zablorg in it, howevre, as I understood, so they murdered Zablorg only?

yeah, and since they transmitted their specs, how vulnerable are they to say having a white phosperous or thermite bomb dropped on them? those high temps can't do anything good to their circuitry.

by K. A. Pital
we can just drop MOAB or FOAB bombs on them from bombers and get this little island to look like glass.
but we'll need to gather info on them
I still say we leave this to Vanahem or Lincoln, they need a bit of real game
