I dressed up as an Office of War Information photographer. (Do I look like Alfred Palmer? No one will ever know.) My girlfriend was a Rosie the Riveter type.



We had a proper portrait done (and I got to talk to the photographer, thanks to my Speed Graphic), but I won't reproduce it.

Oh no... not again...

Taken during an insane nighttime trip on Halloween along the Oregon and Washington coasts in the middle of a storm to kill time while fumigating the rental house. Before this we had eaten at Mazatlan Mexican restaurant in Seaside--their food is awesome and they have a secret menu for Spanish speakers (that's what I garnered anyway, from the Spanish speaker in our party ordering stuff)--so I recommend them. The first is indeed in a covered bridge.

Whereupon I pretend to be a respectable, contributing member to society:
