Mostly I'm a "jack-of-all-trades" type, but here's some of the things I'm really good at:

(1) I write and speak English as if it's my native language. While it's not a big deal in developed countries, it astonishes people in countries like Indonesia. Everytime I went to Singapore, people always thought I came from Phillipine; when I went to Malaysia, people thought I'm an American-born Asian.

(2) I'm good in playing electone organs. When I was eleven, my course classmates envied me because I was the only beginner who got to play solo (not masturbation, you sick!) in the Yamaha Music Concert.

(3) I recover fast. Once I was hospitalized for severe dengue fever and two days later a nurse caught me scuttling through the complex looking for some real food (and beer).

(4) I'm a very imaginative person. For example, while I'm only average in my German course class, no one can beat me on schreiben (as long as we're allowed to open the dictionary. My vocab still sucks.). A friend once said I'm also very good in grossing out people, but recently I just lost my confidence since some fellow SDnetters told me I'm not really disgusting anymore. I'm afraid I no longer deserve to be called The Sick, Twisted Fuck! :(

This is mostly Real life stuff....

-Whenever theres a problem with PC's, people come to me, also with making PC's.

-When I need to learn something, I learn it, fastest I know.

-I am an amazingly quick reader.

-Like someone mentioned, I can leave something for a few months, and come back far better.

-I can gross out anyone I know in sex related topics.

-Great listener, because being a doormat is fun :P.

I think thats it.

I hardly even recognized the similarity, but it turns out there is actually a board/party game called Balderdash, isn't there?

Funny thing was, I really was referring to an ancient game called Boulderdash. It and Q-bert were semi-popular arcade games back in the early 80s - when I was young enough to still think it was 'rad' to go the 'arcade' and spend 'quarters' until I was 'broke'.

Strange but true. :D

Aw, that's OK, KAN. You'll always be a sick, twisted fuck to me. :)

I go through spyware-infested systems like a horizontal, bipedal blender.

I can identify a game, 90% of the time, simply by someone mentioning a few vague details about it. This actually helps when I'm dealing with gamers at work.

Mystical ability to roll nothing over a 7 on 2d6 in an entire Battletech game, second only to our local Commando.

Procrastination. Hey, we've all gotta have a specialty SOMEWHERE.

* Playing classical piano, took 12 years of lessons and they still stick with me and teaching others how to play.

* Reading too fast for my own good, I can go through 3-4 books a day if I am being a bum.

* I gather I have "Dear Abby" on my forehead as most everyone I know comes to me for advice, so I guess I am a good listener and dispenser of advice.

* I cook everything from scratch, it was the way I was taught by my grandmother.

* A good mother.

* I give good "net"

*chuckles and wanders off to take a nap*

Thank you, oh thank you. I'm touched. Really. *grabs a hankerchief*

PS: that ain't sarcasm. I'm *really* obsessed in grossing out people since childhood, like Alfred Hitchcock obessed in scaring out people. Although I'm not sure anymore if that's one of the things I do best.

PPS: my reply above may be interpreted in two ways: One is crying, another is... ah, well, just note the words "touched" and "hankerchief".

Ahhh!! Ok,     Oops, sorry Lag. I was sure you meant Balderdash. I've never even heard of the other one you speak of. Ahhhh!! I'm so embarrassed  but here, I'll laugh at myself to make things better ok :)

~*~ Am pretty good at learning lyrics n such...
~*~ i keep the house video library listing fairly well in my head...
~*~ Am the most computer literate person in my house
~*~ i manage to (how i dunno) convince some people that am an idiot..and they then apologize when they realize i actually DO know what I'm talking about...(sometimes)
~*~ i have a number of books that i know fairly well, and keep track of (just like pets...except they don't need fed, a change of scenery occasionnally but not fed)
~*~ i keep my head fairly well under pressure, and find that things work out a bit better in the situation then.
~*~ i'm good at making a fool of myself

and seeing how it's taken meabout 3 hours to figure out that much... i guess that's all am good at.

BULLSHIT. I AM the most disgusting twisted fuck in this board. Tell me, have you ever came up with the idea of having sex with a giant spider? Or having parts of your post being snipped out by Darth Wong himself because they're sexually repulsive?

Nah, grossing out people is what *I* do best.

PS: Thanks to Lord Zentei for restoring my self-confidence. ;)

Among my group of friends, I am known for:

- reading like a psychopath.
- correcting anyone who mispronounces a Star Wars name.
- picking up video games that I've never seen before, playing for a couple minutes, and then holding my own against folks who've played it dailiy for weeks.
- the ability to annoy the most pacifistic of females into being ready to stab me.

Also, I think I:

- write well.
- listen well.

Despite being abysmally unorganized personally, I have a certain talent for organizing people and tasks.

I can distinguish between fine brands of tequila with a single sip... two at the most.

I'm the most stubborn bastard I know. This can be an advantage at times.

I'm a good listener, unless I'm busy and distracted.

Hmm... I'm a fairly normal guy, most ways. Never spent much time thinking on my virtues.

Oh, but I can totally disorganize a Roman line with saturation bombardments from my Selucid militia cavalry, then when their units are strung out I send in the pikemen and the cataphracts to crush them utterly. Just ask the frickin' Brutii about that... AVE CAESAR my ass.

1) This topic is NOT meant to be a dick-waving contest, so don't tell other people they're wrong about what they do best.
2) Wong didn't snip your post in that thread because you grossed him out. He snipped your post because he's tired of you trying to suck up to him all the damn time. It's really annoying.
3) Having sex with a giant spider is the one example you came up with to exemplify your grossest thought? Sorry, but I'm not all that disgusting and even I can do better than that.

Anyone else notice how many people have said that they are gret listeners? Maybe that's a common trait for SD.net members.

Anyway,
-I am a good listener/advice giver/comforter
-I'm pretty good with languages
-I don't ever really need to study much, I listen and pick stuff up very well
-I bake well
-I fence pretty damn well (HAH! ORIGINAL!)

I've been told i have the most amazing telephone maner. Many bosses have been in awe of how sincere my fake politeness is.

Also very good with people, i can see a person and instantly judge just how to speak to them and how cheeky i can be while being endearing.

I can hold a grudge like no-one i know. I still remember the names and faces of the assholes who bullies me the whole way through school.

I remember almost every song i hear. Give me 15 seconds of a song and i'll remember the title, band and where I 1st heard the song.

I can drink more alcohol than i have any right to. I've been known to start drinking at lunch time and still be only tipsy when i finish the following morning, and i do mean morning. This is an annoying trait when i want to get wasted.

I give amazing head. I've know girls who've came several times in one licking out session, even girls wo started off drier than a desert.

~I can write.
~I can read quickly.
~I make a killer pizza.
~I can teach myself. This summer, I am going to teach myself Calc III and IV. This talent is helpful in classes with shitty teachers.
~I play the viola well.
~I can write a decent fugue.
~I write awesome canons.
~I make up worlds in my head.
~I play chess pretty well (USCF ~ 1200, 1700 on a good day).
~I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. While I can perform at an above-average level in almost every area of study, my knowledge is generally superficial (compared to where I want it to be), and thus I can say I am good at most things, there are very few things I have mastered.
~I don't usually have to study for tests, and I can still get an A on them.
~I am capable of intense periods of obsession and concentration. A couple of years ago, for example, I was really obsessed with chess, and, thus, studied it in every spare moment.
~I can bullshit like nobody's business. I am capable of writing an essay in a matter of hours, and padding it to the point where it looks like the product of several days' worth of work and revision.
~I have procrastination down to an art. I will put something off to the very last possible second, and still get a good grade on it.

That's about it. Not terribly remarkable. But hey, that's me.

I play chess the best, and I'm the next Bobby Fischer, except minus the crazy.
Ah, Surlethe, another player :o , I play 2200 on my best days, 1700-1800 when I don't pay attention, which is often. I'm stuck in a rut, but slowly improving.
I have a great focus and concentration on nonchess issues, especially with things like math or easily accessible axioms.
I have a great long term memory, I can recall it almost instantly.
I lie well.
I play chess the best
I can't procrastinate at all, I'm constantly busy.
I can slaap together a research paper in an hour, then throw in the documentation right, infact I always right my final draft first.
Did I mention I play chess the best? Because I do.
