What is a STGOD?
"Gunslinger indeed. Quick draw, Bob. Quick draw." --Count Chocula
"Unquestionably, Dr. Who is MUCH lighter in tone than WH40K. But then, I could argue the entirety of WWII was much lighter in tone than WH40K." --Broomstick
"This is ridiculous. I look like the Games Workshop version of a Jedi Knight." --Harry Dresden, Changes
"Like...are we canonical?" --Aaron Dembski-Bowden to Dan Abnett

Structured TGOD (That requires much explanation.) Basically a freeform roleplaying game done via Text on SD.net or ASVS.

Oh...Okay.
Is there somewhere that explains the TGOD part?

I think I have just imagined the new companion to the Machine Cult.
"His word is law, and you shall know the Law and Fear."- yes the cult of the imperial beurocracy, entangling it's enemies in monowhips of red tape, and catacan paper forms (which proceed to grow in length as you attempt to fill them out.....)

The scariest folk song lyrics are "My Boy Grew up to be just like me" from cats in the cradle by Harry Chapin

I could go for an online 40K RP myself, though my lack of Codexes means that I'm a bit bereft of some of the finer details. My fluffiness comes from online sources and the novels.
Despite my Chaos-lovin' here, I'd probably end up with Imperial Guard.
Oh, and remotely on topic, Imperial Guard surfing would probably be like everything else they do... high casualties galore.
"My god, we lost one quarter of our strength just getting dinner!"
"Welcome to the Imperial Guard, son."
