I love my wife
HMS Victory
I love my mum too (this one has been built and painted)
HMS Hood
Chocolate too...

Oh, and hey stark, I got both Bad company 2 and Far Cry 2. Unfortunately I'm halfway through yet another play through of Mass effect 2, so I have yet to get around to playing them.

That link disapointed me, I though it was a copy of the HMS Hood, made out of CHOCOLATE  but it turned out to only be plastic :( .

That would have been awesome... however, I don't think I could have brought myself to eat it. The model is still good (if there are some moulding issues)

I got a hat too, black polyester faux fur, perfect for frigid NNY winters.

LoZ: Skyward Sword Deluxe Pack (inc Gold Wiimotion Plus & 25th anniversary CD)

some new DVD+RW blanks too, since none of the local stores carry them anymore.

& some minor snack stuff, chocolates/ cheeses.

on the giving side I sent out some cordial cherries & Danish Cookie tins.

holiday treats are always a well-received & affordable gift choice & typically cost less than gift cards. Bonus points if you make your own wrapping paper & bows.

Keyboard Kindle from the parents, some smelly stuff. some random clothes and assorted other fillers.

The Kindle will make a huge difference for me - my room is full to the gunwales with books so it was time to go digital.

My family is not creative with Christmas gifts. It's always cash. Which is, of course, a fantastic gift.

Assuming it is from your parents, siblings etc. Otherwise it is just your money given back to you.

I didn't get anything for Christmas, which is normal. It's my parent's anniversary, 25th this past Christmas.

My mom got me a $50 gift card for Best Buy for New Year's. It's pretty useless, though; I spent an hour walking around a Best Buy and couldn't find anything worth buying under $150. Even the Sony headphones I was considering are cheaper at the Sony Store! What a garbage store.

I might just spend it on a remote control helicopter.

Halo anniversary from my girlfriend and a total of $260 to various book stores from my family. Plus a $40 bonus on my choir scholar salary.
