This is Rainbow Brite.
You'll get Asuka back soon enough. Right now Rainbow is here to help me get through all this school work before Spring Break next week.

Birdies which can barely be told apart from the toast. Game, set and match indeed.

Ah, but it has the birdies in nonetheless, thus, my avatar outranks yours.

Oh, that's right, you Limies probably weren't exposed to
Rainbow Brite.
Or you're too young to have watched the cartoon in the mid 80s. Depends on how old you are.

Transformers, Macross, Galaxy Rangers, Dangermouse, Trapdoor, Count Duckula, Victor and Hugo, that wheeled warriors thing and numerous others made my eighties cartoon fun.
Must've missed this weird thingy you saw.

But her eyes cannot be seen, and she does not have a pleasant, let alone visible, expression on her face. That the birdies are there does little to rectify these two
glaring omissions.

Bah, my quest for a decent Rei avatar goes on...

I could always DL the trial version of WinDVD4 and make you a screencap of Rei with the toast in her mouth if you want.

If you could that'd be great.
At least when I finally get around to getting my boxset of NGE I can do all the screen grabs I want.

You've got mail...as in a PM!!
I actually made five: three in the classroom and two with the toast, in case you wanted to switch them around from time to time.

I think I like the other one better, though, this one just looks bizarre (though less so than the original shitty screengrab).
Ever read
Neon Genesis Evanjellydonut or
Children of an Elder God?

Ugh. Painful to read.

I'm reading it for pure curiosity because I want to see the ending and how it... ends.

NXE is still in writing, AFAIK "NXE:TMP" is still not done (the authors apparently concentrating on UF, which I find is getting somewhat annoying as of late).
Alas, I crave fanfic so much that I read all of NXE

What are talking about? Her eyes can be seen. And what's wrong with toast?

I'm gonna finish reading NXE and then start my novel that I have been planning for years. I always read something beforehand to get in the mood for writing again.
May the toast be with me and you all.

In NXE, the Eyrie crew brings in "Amelia Anderson," which is based on the character Mizuno Ami from Sailor Moon. She, of course, doesn't have any superpowers in the fic whatsoever other than her intelligence.
