The newest episode just ended. They woke up in their ship and only moments had passed.

Now that I think about it, not really.

Didn't really like the episode anyway. Sorta felt like they were just going through the motions to finish the arc, particularly when they slammed the reset button as hard as they did. Technically it was far more impressive, and I liked some of the background details, but pretty graphics just aren't enough.

In the middle of watching now.

EDIT: Awwwwwwwww you made him forget! Bastards.

But I don't agree the "reset button" was hit. Sure, Anakin was made to forget this vision, but he forgot nothing else.

This website is a must for every episode, IMO. (Blu-Rays have more complete, and interesting, commentaries about every episode, of course. These are just extracts).

Are you kidding? It's classic reset button! The only difference is that Anakin's change only lasted for like 5 minutes.

I'd be more inclined to call it a reset button if "it was all a dream" was invoked and they didn't remember anything that happened in there. But all the characters came away from this with an experience. Whether that'll be used in later episodes remains to be seen, but Anakin did learn he was the Chosen One. He knows it for certain now, so that wasn't taken away.

Have you got a link? Because this is a bit illogical - happening to all three of them?
Well, if it's an exceptionally powerful area of the Force, why not?

Anyway, we don't know that even the cave/tree on Dagobah would work on just one person. Luke goes in there alone, but Yoda could sense or "know" about what happened. When Luke chopped off Vader's head and saw his own face, the scene cut to Yoda hanging his head, which I think is a good sign that he at least had an idea on what had happened.

To the episode itself, I liked it. On the memory erasure thing, with what the Father said, I wonder if you could interpret that as him believeing that all of that needed to come to pass to bring balance. The "Beware your heart!" line seems to be an attempt to warn him off though, so I dunno. But I'll roll with the theory.

Oh yeah, it was pretty cool to hear that slow little snippet of Battle of the Heroes when Anakin and Son were first talking in the volcano. That was an effective use of movie music, I thought.

While I have nothing to back this up and could be a coincidence but after watching last night's Supernatural immediately after Clone Wars. Maybe Anakin's memories wasn't really erased but buried way deep into his subconscious. Almost laying seeds for his views on the Jedi.

Actually TC Pilot is correct, I owe Hoth an apology. Mea Culpa.

I was browsing the thread and lost track of the fact I was on the first page and not the recent ones. I fucked up.

According to the commentary clip on starwars.com, Lucas intended for Bane and Revan to make an appearance, but then changed his mind and nixed that. Dunno what to make of that.

How could Bane and Revan make an appearance? Force ghosts? Holographic recordings?

It would be interesting to see Revan. Does anyone know what he actually looked like? In KotOR, his appearance is determined by the player.

This week's episode was pretty good. Their Captain Tarkin was convincing, and the plot was good fun.

It was good, but it seemed like it just ended too abruptly, like they wrote this one and the next as one episode and had to cut it in two because it was too long or something.

Liked the new episode. There any word on why half the planet appeared to be gouged out? Would be hilarious if they said 'mining explosives accident'. :D

Lola Sayu it was called! it looked like a large collision with another body to me, but the whole planet would have bean like that...so yeah, they probably are gonna say it was some sort of accident. or not. Anakin said the citadel was build to handle jedi prisoners, so maybe it was intentional to make the place less accessible. the prison was build close to the lava flows.
