Well darn it, I wasn't able to get that Chamarran first contact post done. I guess this is what happens when I spend most of the day helping tear down the old deck at my house and replace it. Forewarning, I probably won't be on a whole lot tomorrow either for the same reason.

Well, new prologue post up. Will be interesting to see how the Capellans and Hellenes react to this...

Or something else but as a joint prologue or whatever.

Also still working on part two of my Shield World prologue post, should be done by the end of the week, yay.

Just a bit- one more map iteration and I'll start the first 'game events' thread this evening.

I have a suitably wacky post almost ready.

I'm open to doing a joint post. Should it be before or after the meeting with the Chamarrans though?

I know Klavostan (Is it still a Sultinate like in SDNW4?) is near the Chamarrans and opposed to them, Space Aladdin and Space Heracles can fight catgirls together!

Also the Space-Rats will probably side with you just because!

I don't know what I'd do...Arcadia takes a LOT of prodding to actually get into a war. We have too many things to lose should that happen. And of course, people don't want us to stop watching the VIKINGS if they want their trading ships intact.

There is no convincing evidence that the galaxy has actually changed. It's probably at least as plausible that they're from another universe.

I mean be honest. If you met these guys in their oar-powered FTL starship, merrily breathing in space as if nothing was wrong, you'd probably want to believe they came from another universe entirely.

Heh, good point. I mean, an Arcadian would break their brain trying to think about it, a logical minded Furling would probably commit suicide over it, and a VIKING would be...well...I'm not actually sure.

A Cernan would be confused, then simply nod and accept it.
