Your capital ships are woefully undergunned, with a mere 650 megaton/minute output on your biggest capship. Additionally, your vessels recharge shields at the extremely high rate of 3 gigatons a minute. Is this on purpose? Im basically means that in a one-on=one fight, your capships are immune to any capital ship in the field.

A range of 5-10 megatons per second is about right. Also, it would help if you posted the firepower, not just that of the individual guns, but of the ship's battery. Less arithmetic for everyone else, y'know.

Ok, i'll change firepower per weapon to firepower of ships total

(Is it 1.5GT max for firepower???)

1.5 GT/ minute for your largest ship class.

The maximum allowable firepower for a warship is 1.5 gigatons per minute, and that's including PD guns- for instance, my heaviest hitter, the "Athena " class Dreadnough, mounts 1.35 gigatons anticapship firepower, and .15 gigs of PD firepower.

And hard limits for firepower and semi hard ones for shielding.

Now if it's tourist season why am I not allowed to kill them.

Any chance you'll want to come back later? Thanks to jump points being the staple of interstellar travel real isolation is possibul.

The governments always stepping on the little guy, though in your case its more large bulldozers vs. huge angry bear with a telephone pool.

Updated Fleet details

http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic. ... 750#549750

You'll need to scroll a bit.

There is one more thing, I think we should drop the penalties. The reason why I think we should drop them is that the STGOD hasn't even started yet, when the penalties were assigned the map wasn't drawn up or anything. Exactly what are the "late entries" being penalized for? Their entries haven't resulted in anyone doing anymore work apart from myself who's drawn the map. The penalties make no sense.

I sort of agree, I don't see the logic in penalizing several participants who have not done anything. To be fair, however, the interest thread was running for about 5 days - plenty of time for everyone to see it and join in.

While that is true, what damage has been done by signing in late?

I was gone for that week. Why should I be penalized for being forced to go on a family vacation the ay before stormy posted about the second STGOD, then getting back the day after it closed?

Yeah they would have been "Isolationist", and I was designing their style of ground warfare to be more of the Use nerve gas to kill everything, kick back in our sealed vehicles, style.... Along with lot's of "Robot Drones" assassination being the chief form of advancement in the society and other things.

Right now I'm just really tired

Well we could leave your power with no currently useabul jump points, warp storm or something like that, and assume that no one is insane enough to take the long way to visit.

Please give a list and brief explanations of your nations special industries/ businesses that are exportable, and that you have a decided advantage in. And a list/brief explanation of various governmental departments.

Draconis Republic Governmental Departments

State Department:

This department is responsible for diplomacy, and signing treaties etc...

Ministry of War: This is responsible for the waging of war

R&D Division: Responsible for the research and development of military technology.

Ministry of Biotechnology: This is responsible for oversight of the vast biotechnology industry, and for the development of new techniques and enhancements

Jusitice Deptartment: Responsible for the legal system, and the prosecution of criminals.

Trade Commision: Responsible for the oversight of industry and trade. We do have heavy restrictions on what busnesses can and cant do.

Health Ministry: Responsible for healthcare

Republic Utility Corp: Controls the Utilities(water, power recourses etc)

Transportation Industry: Well?

Other than this, our government is set up like any other Constitutional Republic

Special Industries:

The Draconis Republics chief export is thier bio-engineered food. This is in demand all over the known Galaxy(though the nations they have no contact with dont know who produces it) Their food is more nutricious, stores better, and the seed needs less water than anyone elses(though they are sterle, so they have to keep comming back for more)

Another big business for the Draconis Republic is in their GeneModding(TM) They are very skilled in such techniques, and can transfigure a human into a mermaid should they so choose...(this may be a BIT off the mark, but you see the point)

The Republic, due to their BioTech is also a leader in Gene Therapy, creenng, and VERY competitive in Medicine. And their doctors specializing in XenoBiology are second to none.

The Draconis republic also has a technoogical advantage when it comes to particle acceleration. Having started using it centuries before the earthers did. They enjoy an advantage in power and speed from their Particle Beams and Ion Engines, and export pats and technical help for a nice profit.

Not everyone's world would necessarily want your food. For one thing my nation is isolationist and wouldn't be too keen on such "unnatural" food sources. Let people determine their own civs wants and needs.

If Stravo wishes to claim this advantage for his faction I'm going to let him have it. His faction would presumably be more advanced than yours in genetic manipulation after all.
