And now we know why the Nova Australians are the financial capital of Atlantis! Their innate Australian incomprehensibility inoculates them against the greater Zorian incomprehensibility, making them the only ones who can communicate efficiently. Therefore, they take all other Atlanteans' money.
Man. Bruce Robbo. Whattaguy.

Heh, I foresee an increase in Eoghan foodstuff this year. Afterall Nova Atlantis has to get ride of the BEES somehow and what other insectovores are you going to call?

Huh. I go away for a few days, and when I get back, I find wars declared, Space Bees attacking Nova Atlantis, and a goddess molesting the Centralist head of state.
I congratulate everyone on the restraint they've shown these past few days.

Also Master_Baerne your carriers have arrived!
Mayabirdies that was hilarious!
Also Zor I still have your people in custody and may be transferring them to Earth to stand trial for their part in the deployment of the nanoplague. My sanctions are in effect against your nation, I am curious as to your response.

I have no intent on doing so.

Good. Now what about the Hiigaran sanctions and your people they're holding?
And now to add to the crimes of the MEH - genocide! Possibly even cannibalism if the usual meaning has shifted that way; technically it might still be listed as "eating your own kind" but colloquially I'd think it'd change to "directly eating any other sentients."

Nothing wrong with that. The rest of the galaxy can commence weapons testing on their hulls.

Fortunately, they now have copious amounts of Spuds and Zappa with which to defend themselves from the unthinking chitinous mechanical blubberific masses of the MEH!

So... this means after some kobe beef, they'll be up for some calamari and sashimi?

Using "Barnyard" to depict those sentients does not in any way make me feel sympathy for them. In fact, it almost makes me want to cheer on the MEH to rid the abominations from our galaxy.
Almost. I don't actually cheer on the destruction of nonhuman species. That's the Byzantine's job.

The beefs of the Cossack Stars are, to the best of my knowledge, nonsentient.
But I'm sure you'll eat them anyway.

Well, that finally got out of the window, after 2 months of procrastinating on how best to write it.
Done with some of Shroom's inspiration, and tidying up.

So, I noticed that we'd had a lull in activity lately, and decided to try and break the jam up a bit by posting another Zebes chapter. The next is already half-written and I have some hopes of getting it out in the next few days- the end, counter to all our experience and common sense,
is in sight!
I took some creative license with Eoghan military technology and culture, but as little as I could manage after consultation with Sorchus, and I'm quite prepared to stick to my guns on anything he disagrees with, on grounds of "Well, if it isn't true it
ought to be!"

No problems, creative license is perfectly acceptable. I do note the Chekhov's gun you left out though.
And yeah, kinda a lull and partially that is because I misplaced my notebook of handwritten story posts. I should be able to find it soon though.

Yay! Captain Zyvyannov of the

But poor
Venerable Commemoration of the Generous Imperator's Precambrian Archaeofeat of Precambrian Paleodinosaur Wrestling. He will not get another go against the Scron.
