An 'inherited' scout - historically, these two ships (Bixio and Marsalla) were retired at the end of the 1920s, so they should still be active - probably as harbour watch ships in the Colonies.
I'll use this ship class as the base for my large destroyer/small cruiser development.based on the Italian Navies website Raesene wrote:Nino Bixio, Tuscan Kingdom esploratori (scout) laid down 1911

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
5.041 lbs / 2.287 Kg = 95,6 x 4,7 " / 120 mm shells or 1,1 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1,20
Metacentric height 1,9 ft / 0,6 m
Roll period: 12,9 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 65 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0,14
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1,29
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has a flush deck,
a normal bow and a cruiser stern
Block coefficient (normal/deep): 0,464 / 0,468
Length to Beam Ratio: 10,77 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 21,43 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 50 %
