Yet the first one made over a half billion dollars.

That alone accounts for over twice the cost of making 3 LotR movies.

IIRC, FOTR grossed ~$800 billion or so if you include video sales and such.

God, this kind of thing is really getting old.
Well, there's no accounting for taste, and taste is not required in life, although it is heavily recommended...

this is the image next to the article. i can see that the ork is very dark (yes nearly black, if i photoshoped him i´d give him RGB 0,0,0) and has perfect dread locks</sarkasm>.
the problem is, that this dumbass saw one black skined, dread locked ork (probably this one)

and now claims that all of them are like that.

but what about the one next to the article, what about this on:

there are many more light skinned orks in the movie, the only thing he would have needed to do was a google picture search on "uruk hai"

as for the guardian bashing: the difference between quality newspapers like the guardian and right wing crap papers is that they offer a range of different oppinions. one article supporting a certain thing can be right next to an article which bashes the same thing. they admit the writers freedom of speech. this of course leads to the situation that you get articles which you dont agree with quite frequently. but that´s not a bad thing. it makes you actually think about the topics not just reading, swallowing and forgetting them like you do if there´s only one article covering one topic.

If you would actually read my post, it's an excerpt for a script based
on the Battle of Kursk.......

I've seen this shit before. Last time around, some moron in Chicago
compared LOTR: The Fellowship to a Nazi propaganda film...

Then feel free to bust a cap in his ass for me because I feel stupidity is a pandemic that needs to be controlled with an iron fist and a lead bullet.

Through in a quote from there. Then laugh at it. Academically, of course.
Ahh, there is hope for you yet!
