Now to contribute to the thread... I usually do what has already been said a million times. I weight the pros and cons but that doesn't help you here.

I'd say just do what you think you'll have the most fun doing, what you think you'll have the greatest success in.

I've never decided anything really major in my life. I actually don't know where to begin to do so.

Some of my decisions involved a spontaneous 'jump in the deep end, sink or swim' attitude. This has been met with... mixed success.

I take lots of drugs and alcohol and fry like a motherfucker for twelve hours, and then when I wake up the next morning, my mind is so broken, shattered, and uninhibited by unnecessary factors that making a decision is usually a snap. That's how I decide whether or not to work on a show, anyway.

I think I'll try this the next time I have to make a major decision. I don't think it would actually help me to make better decisions, but it sounds like fun.

I'm quite the opposite, i often leap in and make a decision based on gut feeling, unfortunatelly i think i subconsiously hate myself and i frequenly make really bad decissions, particularily in relationships and job decissions.
