I just played my first round of a Tok tournament battle. Upwards of a few dozen players onscreen. That was fantastic.

We held a chokepoint for roughly 15 minutes against the endless horde. Strange thing was, we had 1 warrior. Poor guy.

At least with working collision detection that warrior can truly "tank".

Yeah, thats one of the thing I griped about in WoW. Whats the pointing of having a shield wall if you can literally walk through them?

My character's name is Val Tannis. If I'm on, it's usually evenings betwen 6 and 10 EST.
Anyone who wants to play with other SD.net people should list their character's name for easy finding. Especially for us emote/tell use retards.

MY two chars will be:
Sanini Earthmender (elementalist/monk)
Sanini Earthcaller (Ranger/necromancer)
Earthcaller will most likely be my main. I like the idea of charming an animal to do my bidding, then, after it dies, reanimating it's rotting carcass to do my bidding again.

My charas are Enlil Tao (Elementalist/Necromancer)and Serafine Tao (Warrior/Mesmer).
I usually use Enlil as I enjoy blowing things away with magics, then forcing them to rise again and act as a portable meat-shield until I find a party member -.-

HA! Changed my main! I am now Enya Watermark (tee hee I love fucking with people. I've been hit on no less than 3 times since starting this toon) the M/E only 7th level, but shes UBER fun. I love conjure Phantasm. Best. DoT. Ever. I'm going to beef up my illusion magic alllllll the way so that I can just Set it, and forget it!

Mm, I use Conjure Phantasm in conjunction with Sever Artery and Gash. Ain't nothin' that gets the ol' health down like that combo.
And it does seem that more people are willing to get into parties with female charas. hmm.
On a side note, I love jsut starting dancing randomly in town. You can usually get a small crowd also dancing in seconds

I love Mesmers too. They're quite possibly the most underrated class in the game, and that just adds to their destructive capability. I prefer the Domination tree personally. Sacrifices damage for sheer... well, battlefield domination.

I'm definietly getting an Elementalist/Mesmer next, despite my usual philosophy of raw power at the expense of everything else. Backfire has proved itself hilariously useful before, and I expect it to in the Arena.
Tried a couple of rounds in the arena with a lvl6 character. I got pwned terribly. Think more skills are in order. And next time, maybe we'll get a monk in our party. They had 2

ID kit. They go for 100 gold each, 25 uses. You can get them anywhere in post-searing Ascalon.

And in pre-searing. Merchants sells them universally, I think.
