If you look, the gap between my big toe and the next one along on both feet is further than average apart which is because I had a bone growing in my foot pushing them apart, hence my bent toes, apparenly, they were trying to put themselves in line.
I had the bone taken out about 6 years ago, so the gap isn't as big as it was, but when I was a little kid I used ot use that gap to grip on to climbing franes and stuff like a monkey!
I can still put a pen in the gap and write stuff.
