They had to give Ron Howard an Oscar given all the money he's made for Hollywood at some point. Too bad it had to be the same year that one of the best films of all time came out.

It isn't necessarily the best movie that wins an oscar. It's often the movie that can put on the best award campaign.

Not this year. A Beautiful Mind got the shit kick out of it in the Oscar campaigning.

They gave Fellowship the royal screw-job. ABM was a good movie, but to compare it to Fellowship is to insult everyone involved with the other film. The film industry has no concept of what makes a good movie, anymore. The critics are especially responsible for this.

I don't think that AoTC was that great. I did enjoy Spider-man a bit more.

Spiderman was good but I think that it was a bit derivative of Superman and Danny Elfman's score (although good) was weak.
