Can it be an image on your hard disk, or does it have to be posted on the Internet somewhere? If it's the latter, I'm sorta shit out of luck.

You have to have somewhere on the net to put it yes...

Damn. In theory, I've got a personal web page that came with my school network account, but I've never tried to do anything with it.

Though I am known to be sarcastic from time to time to often, that my friend, was not sarcasm. Truly, I am honored.

And BTAS is Batman the Animated Series, which, as I'm sure we all know, is one of the greatest TV programs ever. It had a few problems relating to working within the constraints of a children's show, but it performed admirably under the circumstances.
You'll notice as you watch through your Cowboy Bebop DVD collection (what? no CB DVDs? for shame...) that each episode has its own style, in writing, directing, animating, etc. Many of them contain elements of style in tribute to other great works, and the episode in question attempts (and succeeds) to mimic the BTAS style.
It also contains elements in tribute to the movie Pierrot Le Fou. (big surprise there)

I just slapped these together from images lying around in my photoshop archives. Maybe something better soon.

*another frickin' edit.* If those images still aren't working try this:

http://www.geocities.com/weemadnosh/conc_accept.html

And if THAT doesn't work, then my HTML editing skills (otherwise known as frontpage and a large mallet to get it to acutally work) have degraded to such a point that I may as well just e-mail them to you all. It'll take less time that way.

*and another fucking edit to fix the mis-spelt address*

I love this one. If they don't conced, you can follow up with a shot of one of the cop cars exploding from an M79 hit.

Indeed, it kicked ass.

You kidding? I have all the eps PLUS the movie ;)

I've noticed that, actually...though many of them I couldn't place.

I haven't seen that movie. Is it good?

I couldn't help but notice the evangelion pic was the one of the "Twin" Angel. It just goes to show: Cut a troll in half and you have two trolls. They may only be half as intelligent, but there are still two of them and thats just damn irritating.

Here's a bitching site that lists influences in the episodes and the movie:

http://rfblues.aaanime.net/.

Just surf to the episode you want to see and click on 'influences.'

And yeah, Pierrot le Fou is a badass movie. It's about these Frenchies on the run.
