Not to be a wet blanket, but I saw some stories where a father believed in this but the wife and kids did not. He claimed to be convinced it was going to happen. I must admit to having some slight bit of concern for people in those situations. If the end doesn't come, I hope none of these believers decide to end it themselves and possibly harm their family members in the process. I don't think I'd be comfortable staying in the house if my father was sure the end was coming the next day.

I happened to see one of those vans advertising this nonsense out on the highway here, just northeast of Philadelphia, some months ago. Apparently they are going to be back in a town near me tomorrow.

I saw a airplane with a banner behind it on the way home from work this afternoon advertising these fruitcakes.

All this kind of makes me wish we could charge him with fraud once the appointed time of the end comes and goes without incident.

Apparently Camping is ignoring the fact that time zones are not straight and perfect but often adjusted so countries or states can all have the same time//
